Wenren Sheng and Little Illusion returned to the Heavenly Palace and met the Five Celestial Venerables again.
Within the Heavenly Palace, the Jade Emperor, Tathagata Buddha, the Supreme Old Lord, the Primordial Heavenly Lord, and the Queen Mother of the West all sighed at once.
"Now the two Honored Saints from beyond this realm should understand. Without the restraints of the Heavenly Dao, the Saint of Chaos would reveal his true nature and act without restraint. To him, all living beings are beneath any respect," the Queen Mother said first.
"Yes. That is why the Heavenly Law decrees that those seeking immortality must not harbor violent malice and must not slaughter mortals," the Supreme Old Lord added.
"Sigh. Though we once governed Heaven and Earth without placing mortals first, we never treated them too harshly."
Though they did not say it outright, they were clearly blaming Wenren Sheng.
