Li Chun and the researchers tested whether a glass room could remove the Mysterious factors from Black Tentacle’s victims, but it destroyed White Guy’s nerves and left him paralyzed. Li Chun proposed using Nanobots to separate the Mysterious from the nerves, and White Guy’s second leg began responding to the treatment.

• White Guy put one leg into the glass room, where the Mysterious removal destroyed its nerves and left him unable to move it.
• Several of the victims lost hope and went mad, while Li Chun secretly called Zhao Han and learned the condition could be treated manually, though the process took too long for many people.
• Li Chun suggested shrinking the treatment space to nanometer scale and cutting along the nerves to remove the Mysterious while preserving the body.
