The Xuan Yue Clan is one of the Dao Realm's top powers and has produced a Lord of the Great Dao. Its inheritance is tied to the Great Dao of the Moon, while the Bright Moon is associated with the clan's Lord of the Great Dao. The clan remained secluded for countless years before forcibly re-emerging after discovering the fate of its descendants in Chaos. 399 468

An internal factional dispute once led to an elder's defeat and house arrest. The elder's four Dao Opening Realm disciples were expelled from the clan; they later founded the Xuan Yue Dynasty in Chaos. Three of the four founders disappeared, while the remaining founder brought the dynasty into the newly born Hong Zun Universe and entered a deep sleep. Ancestors above the Dao Touching Realm remained behind to protect the dynasty's passage and were lost. 316

The Xuan Yue Dynasty's descendants eventually became targets of the Ten Great Universes.
