When Li Shaolin yanked the feral little girl away, the unlucky fellow's neck had already been bitten open, blood streaming from the wound. The girl in his grasp snarled and clawed wildly. Though she acknowledged Li Shaolin as Undead, she refused to obey him, only babbling incoherently as if trying to break free.

The man on the ground cried out in pain, twisting and rolling around nonstop, covering himself in fallen leaves and dirt.

Li Shaolin could only walk over with an awkward gait and pin him down. "Hey, how are you?"

But the man showed no gratitude. He turned around with a face full of terror. It was Fody, the Blackwater Pirate who had taken the chance to escape. Fate truly had a sense of humor—he had ended up in Li Shaolin's hands after all.
