Griseo gently shook her little head and replied, "No... I woke up on my own."

As if she hadn't woken up fully, she buried her small face in Alina's embrace again.

"Heh~"

Watching Griseo's actions, Alina simply stroked her back and smiled gently.

After lingering in bed for a while longer, Griseo obediently got up with Alina.

Then, they went out to have breakfast with everyone. Although the breakfast was simple and Griseo wasn't entirely used to it, seeing the smiles on everyone's faces, feeling the lively atmosphere, and the warm colors around her made her enjoy the meal very much.

However, after breakfast, everyone quickly dispersed... each going to complete their day's tasks.

After all, they were all Infected, and they were all fighters, busy every day... each with their own missions. Normally, they only had time to gather and chat in the morning and evening.

;?;

But Griseo felt that everyone seemed even busier today, with many people out.

She guessed it might be related to those Infected who had retreated or left the group. Talulah must have issued some relevant orders.

After all, Griseo trusted Alina quite a bit. The fact that Alina had made space for them to talk for so long last night should have been somewhat useful.

However, Alina could slowly change Talulah's personality and cognitive issues. But... the matter of Black Serpent was something Griseo found rather tricky.

Because, as of now, she didn't have a direct method to eliminate Black Serpent. At least, not in Griseo's hands... otherwise, that snake hiding in the shadows would have been dealt with long ago.

She could transform into Apotheosis, but Griseo didn't know the unlock conditions, so for now, she could only take things one step at a time.

Inside the tent—

"Little Griseo, are you really not coming with me? You could come and listen too, and maybe you'll even make some friends." Alina gently persuaded, looking at Griseo, who was already sitting in front of the easel wearing her painter's hat.

"No need... Sister Alina, I'll just draw here... Don't worry, I won't wander off." Saying that, Griseo raised her paintbrush and gently waved it at Alina.

"Besides, Mister Knight is accompanying me..."

Almost the moment Griseo said this, the tall, azure knight... instantly appeared beside her.

"...Since you don't want to go, then alright. But Griseo, even with Mister Knight's protection, don't wander off." Alina said with some helplessness after a moment of surprise, looking at the tall knight before her.

"Mm."

"See you later, Little Griseo."

"Goodbye, Sister Alina..."

After watching Alina leave the tent, Griseo withdrew her gaze and looked back at the blank canvas before her.

For other children, not having anyone to accompany them might lead to loneliness, but for Griseo, that wasn't a problem.

Not to mention that she had Mister Knight and her three other companions. Furthermore... as long as she had paper and pens, as long as she could continue to paint, she would not be lonely.

And today, Griseo didn't plan to paint for anyone else... she intended to paint a picture of herself.

Although the "Griseo" of the past had painted for herself before, that was the "Griseo" of the past, not the current one.

With the idea in mind, Griseo picked up her brush, dipped it in paint, and began her creation.

"..."

Griseo, who had already emerged from her painting state some time ago, was now staring blankly at the enormous object behind her, lost in thought.

Clearly, she was a bit bewildered by this sudden situation.

As for

what was happening now, it all started from when Griseo had just finished her painting.

The moment Griseo laid the final stroke on her brand-new self-portrait, the picture frame began to distort, and the colors on the canvas detached themselves.

Then, a colossal, crimson warrior wearing a crown and wielding a long sword appeared behind her, standing there silently.

;?;

And then came the scene from the beginning, with Griseo staring blankly at her new friend behind her.

"Uncle Tyrant... Hmm, it's nice to meet you."

After another moment of silence, Griseo waved her little hand and greeted the crimson Tyrant before her.

Unlike Mister Knight, who doted on Griseo, the Tyrant merely nodded proudly at her greeting, his form not moving in the slightest.

"Mmm..."

Looking at the proud Tyrant before her, a hint of confusion appeared in Griseo's large eyes.

She had actually considered the possibility that painting for herself this time might bring forth some new friends. However, she had never expected her self-portrait to give birth to a proud and sharp Uncle Tyrant.

Not only was his personality quite different from Mister Knight and the others, but even his colors were so opposite and conflicting.

After thinking for a while, Griseo could only attribute this change to her being a transmigrator, and thus her state of mind was not entirely the same as the real "Griseo."

ps: I feel so unwell, my head feels heavy and light, and it hurts.

Today was too busy, and with exams tomorrow, there will only be one update tonight. Tomorrow will still be two updates.

?

Slept well, goodnight.

Important Announcement (Strongly Recommended Viewing)

Today I'm posting a separate chapter to address some issues. These are problems that have arisen from my writing style and my reluctance to pad the story, leading to many misunderstandings.

First point: I never said the protagonist could only transform into an Elysian. When I mentioned the stats, I directly referred to Valkyries.

Second point: This novel is a yuri story, though the tag is currently hidden by the platform itself. Even if it weren't, I wouldn't write the protagonist transforming into a male character; that's a major turn-off. However, I might introduce summoning later.

;?;!

Third point: Some people have asked if it's a one-on-one or one-to-many situation. I can only say that so far, it leans towards yuri, with affectionate interactions, but it's possible there will be no specific pairing (no CP). Because it's difficult to write deep emotions in this kind of transformation story with multiple personas, it's highly likely to end up as a harem, but I don't want that.

Of course, if the protagonist develops a truly wonderful emotional connection with a specific character later on, I will consider giving her a CP.

Fourth point: Why would anyone think possessing another person's memories is easy? Normally, how do you distinguish yourself? When you have someone else's complete memories, you might not even know who you are yourself. And you're telling me the protagonist's transformation is too fast?

Moreover, the very reason I added the protagonist having the memories of the transformed characters was to try and realistically portray their original personalities. This is because I dislike and do not want to write a purely superficial transformation story.

So, if you're looking for a purely superficial transformation story, I think you can leave now.

Fifth point: Regarding transformations, there's another setting I had in mind. I originally intended to mention it along with the Valkyrie setting I talked about at the beginning of this announcement. But I was afraid you'd say I was padding the story if I wrote it, so I kept delaying it until now. I'll explain it in detail later to avoid further misunderstandings.

Sixth point: This book has detailed settings and a rough outline. Although the outline isn't extremely detailed, I don't need instruction or suggestions regarding the settings. Thank you.

Of course, if you have any excellent plot ideas, as I mentioned in the very first few chapters, you can suggest them in the discussion thread or the comment section. I will consider them.

Seventh point: Because I hide many small details within the text, I don't recommend "quantum reading."

That's about it. I'll start writing now and try to get today's update out as soon as possible.

Chapter 13: I'm Not a Child Anymore

;;

After observing the towering Tyrant before her for a while longer, Griseo stood up from her stool, walked over to him, and gently patted his arm. "Uncle Tyrant... you can go back now."

But after Griseo spoke, the crimson Tyrant didn't disappear immediately.

Instead, he extended his armored hand and gently patted the little girl's head before silently vanishing from the tent.

"Uncle Tyrant seems surprisingly reliable."

Looking at where the Tyrant had disappeared, Griseo tilted her head slightly, a flicker of surprise in her eyes.

Although the Tyrant's unexpected appearance had initially surprised the little girl, she quickly accepted this new companion.

Furthermore, in Griseo's perception, this Uncle Tyrant's strength was even a notch above Mister Knight, who had always protected her.

This crimson Tyrant truly lived up to his demeanor and name.

After her musings, Griseo sat back down on her small stool and picked up her paintbrush to continue doodling.

After all, she had promised Alina she wouldn't wander off. Griseo was a good child, but this time, she was just drawing a normal picture.

"I'm back, little Griseo. Did you miss your sister?"

As noon approached, the tent flap was suddenly lifted... a gentle, smiling voice came from outside.

"...Mm, I missed Sister Alina."

By the time Alina entered, Griseo had already finished her drawing, so she responded immediately.

"Little Griseo is so well-behaved. It's my fault for being busy and not having time to spend with you."

Looking at Griseo, who was obediently sitting by the easel, Alina's eyes held a hint of helplessness and heartache.

After all, she had brought the child back, yet she didn't have time to accompany her...

"Hmm...?"

Griseo's little head slowly formed a question mark at Alina's sudden apology.

"Sister Alina... you don't need to worry about that. Griseo is always happy, and today I even met a new friend."

Saying this, Griseo hopped off the stool, walked over to Alina, and stood on her tiptoes, gently patting Alina's head in a comforting gesture.

Griseo genuinely didn't mind the lack of companionship much. She would be happy if someone was there, but she wouldn't be too sad if they weren't, because she understood everyone...

Just like "Griseo" understood the occasional busyness of Grandma Mobius and Sister Elysia...

Moreover, in a sense, she wasn't a real child. Considering her age before transmigration plus her current age, she was probably older than everyone in the entire camp combined.

"Mmm... Little Griseo, you're just too adorable. Sister will definitely try her best to make time for you."

Seeing Griseo trying her best to reach up and pat her head, Alina gently pulled the little one into her embrace and softly rubbed her cheek.

"..."

Griseo didn't resist Alina's petting, simply allowing her to do as she pleased. Even though it meant she was being held, the comforting effect was achieved, wasn't it?

"...I just remembered something. Sister Alina hasn't given me an answer yet."

After a moment, having escaped Alina's clutches, Griseo seemed to remember something and looked up at her with her big eyes.

"What is it?"

"Alina, what exactly did you... see in the painting yesterday?"

As she spoke, a hint of curiosity appeared in Griseo's violet eyes.

She had actually wanted to ask this this morning, but seeing that Alina seemed busy, she hadn't wanted to waste her time.

"That, my dear, was the future... the downfall of myself, Yelena, and many others. However, now that I've met a little cutie, everything has changed. Thank you, little Griseo."

Alina gently stroked her chin, thought for a moment, and then said with a smile.

"Mhm..."

Griseo was a little surprised by Alina's words. Clearly, her cute little brain had considered many answers, but this one, so comprehensive, was not among them...

"So... Alina, what are you planning to do about that bad snake?"

"Griseo, how did you know about that? Didn't you say you didn't know the effect of your paintings?"

Alina's pupils contracted at the question, and she asked with some nervousness.

Having already known the original course of destiny, she didn't want to involve the little angel Griseo in the Black Serpent incident; it was too dangerous.

Alina couldn't be blamed for being paranoid. In the original timeline, many things were interconnected, step by step leading Talulah into the abyss.

This made her suspect many things, including whether her own death was orchestrated by the Black Serpent, part of its plan.

So, if possible, Alina didn't want Griseo involved. Although the little cutie had her Mister Knight protecting her, who knew? What if they encountered someone even Mister Knight couldn't defeat?

Alina didn't want to take that chance...

"I saw it in Talulah's eyes... a black snake with fierce eyes. I truly don't know what will happen with paintings drawn with everyone's colors."

Facing a nervous Alina, Griseo simply looked her in the eyes and explained unhurriedly.

Even without knowing the so-called plot, she could sense the Black Serpent's existence.
