"Padat... padat..." Footsteps echoed in the corridor. Mei Raiden walked at the very front, her right hand resting on the hilt of Plasma Shadow Show, on guard for any enemies that might appear. Yu Luo walked at the rear, while Kiana was in the middle, ready to provide fire support at any moment.

Ultimately, with no better options, the three of them voted. They decided to go with Kiana's idiotic plan and began searching every floor for Bronya's whereabouts.

"So, could that girl have already escaped?" Kiana voiced the question that had been weighing on her mind for a long time. This time, however, it wasn't Yu Luo who denied her, but Mei Raiden:

"Impossible. A girl soldier like this, artificially modified, wouldn't just abandon her mission!"

"Sister Mei..."

Mei Raiden stopped before the door leading to the next floor. Yu Luo also sensed something was off. A smell that shouldn't have been there tickled his nose, and he couldn't help but exclaim, "It's oil!"

"The same oil smell from those robots!" Mei Raiden confidently declared, "There are definitely robots ahead!"

"Then what are we waiting for?!" Kiana's spirits lifted upon hearing there were enemies. She stepped past Mei Raiden, grabbed the doorknob, and pushed the door open. "Maybe that brat is here too!"

As the door opened, a wild gust of wind blew in, causing their clothes and hair to flutter wildly. Yu Luo, standing at the back, felt Kiana's twin ponytails whipping against his face with the strong wind, stinging him. Annoyed, he grabbed Kiana's ponytails.

"What are you doing?!" Kiana turned her head, glaring at Yu Luo.

"Stop the nonsense and get out, it hurts!" Yu Luo complained irritably and squeezed through the gap between Kiana and Mei Raiden.

As soon as he stepped out, he was greeted by a vast, open rooftop. The scenery of Changkong City was laid out before them at this height. At the same time, Yu Luo saw the familiar white robots. Bronya tilted her head and said in a mechanical voice, "According to Heavy-Oni Rabbit 19C's prediction, the probability of successful capture is 88%, probability of target escape is 10%, and probability of capture failure is 2%."

The emotionless voice, paired with the unfluctuating expression, hit Yu Luo's peculiar soft spot. He immediately looked up at the sky, trying to prevent any suspicious liquid from flowing out of his nose, and exclaimed, "No, I can't take it anymore! Mei, can I defect?!"

"If you dare to defect, I'll put two holes in you right now!" Kiana poked Yu Luo's back hard with the Electromagnetic Hand Cannon. Yu Luo's face turned pale from her actions, and he quickly jumped away, shouting in exasperation, "Do you want to kill me?! If this thing misfires, it's more than just two holes!"

"Teacher Yu Luo, Kiana, please handle the surrounding robots. Create as much space as possible for me to approach Bronya!" Mei Raiden drew Plasma Shadow Show. Kiana nodded. Yu Luo, however, suggested worriedly, "How about I subdue Bronya?"

Mei Raiden drew Plasma Shadow Show, and a beautiful ice-blue blade cut through the air, leaving a trail of frost in its wake.

The shell was severed by Mei Raiden's blade, the cut surface as smooth as a mirror, covered in a light layer of frost.

"Warning, target's combat power has increased. Probability of successful capture: 65%!"

Meanwhile, Kiana was like a husky off its leash, excitedly weaving through the hail of bullets with her newly acquired Electromagnetic Hand Cannon.

"Witness the might of this young lady!"

Electricity crackled from the muzzle of the Electromagnetic Hand Cannon, and an orange beam shot out with speed that defied reaction. It was like a laser cannon, piercing through the heads of the robots without obstruction. Its momentum undiminished, it continued through all the robots in its path. The orange beam traveled nearly two hundred meters before the heat generated by friction caused it to burn out.

"Hmph! How about that!" Kiana proudly puffed out her chest. Before she could revel in her victory for long, another volley of bullets swept towards her. Kiana somersaulted, dodging the bullets in a flurry.

"Alright, you two are amazing, dodging bullets and slicing shells." Yu Luo watched the two girls with non-human combat power speechlessly. Without transforming, he was just an ordinary shut-in. At most, he could use a Noble Phantasm Card to enhance himself a little, but asking him to dodge bullets was like asking him to sleep and dream – he could have anything in his dreams.
