Background / History

Xuan Bing was created through Lang Lei's use of Honkai Shards on the remains associated with the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King. Though she possesses fragments of the Ice Dragon King's memories, she and Li Huo are described as new beings rather than the literal resurrection of the fallen Dragon Kings. She requested that Lang Lei name her, considering him akin to a father because he created her; he named her after her ice essence. 42

When Di Tian sought to bring the two Dragon Kings back to Gu Yuena, Xuan Bing rejected his claim over her. She stated that the past no longer concerned her and that she and Li Huo chose to remain beside Lang Lei of their own will. 62
