Background

Ye Qingyun came from a poor background and endured contempt from others in his youth. Three years before his imprisonment, he acquired a mysterious ring that allowed his fortunes and cultivation to rise rapidly. His aptitude eventually drew the attention of True Person Ziwei, who accepted him as her personal disciple. 39

He became Heavenly Firmament Academy's top inner disciple, earning the appreciation of several elders, the Left Prime Minister, and the First Prince. His exceptional talent, public prestige, and support from influential figures made him a prominent young cultivator within the academy. 30
