The earthquake was not particularly strong. By the classification system from his old home on Earth, it was only an ordinary magnitude two or three quake.
But its range was astonishing. Normally, an earthquake occurred around its epicenter—the closer one was to the source, the stronger the shaking; the farther away, the weaker it became.
Russell compiled the reports coming from the Scorching Torrent Kingdom and the Shadowflame Grand Duchy, only to find that the earthquakes occurring everywhere were all roughly magnitude two or three, with no obvious weakening or intensification.
In other words, this earthquake had no source at all.
"Put another way, this isn't an earthquake at all!" Russell frowned deeply at this conclusion. "Lost Number One, Great Tremor..."
He looked up at the sky. "The Gate of Another World... the Gate of Another World. Lost Number One must be the Frost Troll world. The Great Tremor may be the disturbance caused by the Gate of Another World opening... The last time Lost Number One transited the sun, Rosai sensed the snowfield's aura erupting..."
All signs indicated that every appearance of Lost Number One brought abnormalities to the Dragon Sleep Continent.
"I need to write to King Ares and tell him to prepare. If the Gate of Another World truly opens, then perhaps... Frost Ge and Frost Da are merely advance cannon fodder. The true Frost Troll army is still waiting behind them!"
Russell felt deeply uneasy about the coming crisis.
However, he was good at adjusting his mindset and quickly came to terms with it.
