the Thorn Spirit Worm seemed to change again because of the Thorn Amber Elf's presence. It began to molt, and cracks even started spreading across its body.
"It's about to evolve!" Through their contract link, Russell quickly sensed the Thorn Spirit Worm's transformation.
He had witnessed Fluorite Mushroom Bird Rosie's evolution and remembered the feeling vividly. "You helped the Thorn Amber Bug evolve, and now the Thorn Amber Elf is helping you evolve... It really feels like you two are exploiting a bug!"
As he marveled,
the Thorn Spirit Worm had completely shed its skin, and the cracks grew wider and wider. It was as though the entire plump little worm had split into several pieces, yet the transformation was not over. Those shattered pieces slowly fused with the molted skin.
