Background / History

Yu Xiaogang was regarded as a castoff of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. While investigating remaining Abyssal forces, he approached Yang Jun and Bibi Dong with information about the clan's Forbidden Ground and the Abyssal Tide. He eventually revealed that the clan chief had coerced him into seeking the Silk Soul Crystal by threatening his mother, whose Soul Power was being restrained in Southeast Villa. 13 14

His mother had been a guardian of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. To stop the Abyssal Mother Nest from consuming the continent, she fused her soul with the Hoe-Sickle and became part of the seal upon its core. 18

During the conflict with Spirit Hall, Yu Xiaogang's Blue-Silver Pattern and Thunder Spirit awakened. He used power inherited from his mother to help Yang Jun and Bibi Dong confront the abyssal threat. 15 16
