When Jiang Ping'an flew up to the mountain peak where the cave abode was located, Nine Clouds and Black Emperor had already sensed his aura. Two figures flew out of the cave abode and came forward to meet him.
Nine Clouds wore a Profound Colorful Dao Robe, the nine-colored rosy light and the clouds wreathed around her own body making her dazzling to the extreme. Autumn waters brimmed in her beautiful eyes. She flew up before Jiang Ping'an and looked him up and down, only letting out a long breath of relief after confirming that he was completely unharmed. A gentle smile then rippled across the corners of her lips. "Jiang Lang, you're finally back."
Black Emperor was much more direct. He circled Jiang Ping'an three times, his dog nose sniffing him all over as he muttered, "Mm, no missing arms or legs, and your aura's grown a huge chunk stronger. Looks like you gained quite a lot."
"Let's talk inside." Jiang Ping'an patted Black Emperor on the head and led the two of them down into the cave abode.
After returning to the cave abode, Jiang Ping'an sat down beside the Spirit Pool and took out a pile of treasures from the Creation God Wheel. Ten Spirit-Sentient Divine Pills were lined up neatly on a jade tray, pill-light flowing over them as they gave off a medicinal fragrance that refreshed the heart and lungs. Nine Clouds looked at the pile of treasures, a trace of astonishment flashing through her beautiful eyes.
