Over the next few days, Chen Mengchuan cleaned up his room and devoted himself at home to recalling and organizing Chisako's core data-processing logic, along with the still relatively clear advanced technologies lurking in his memories. He recorded everything in a specially encrypted programming language.
If he wanted to save himself and save humanity, he stood no chance alone. But if China or the world's other major powers became involved, the issue of trust alone would make everything worse. Although the Artificial Intelligence Chisako was the collective achievement of the entire project team at Yokohama National Science and Innovation Institute, her theoretical core had been conceived, designed, and personally implemented by Chen Mengchuan himself.
That was also why Chisako had always regarded him as her father. Even after countless upgrades, despite developing a highly independent and complete personality, she still liked to consult him about many matters and let him make decisions for her.
Chisako's foundational core structure differed from that of every current Artificial Intelligence product. The conventional model of computer data interaction had been completely shattered in her.
Chisako's independent core would parse, compile, and randomly extract the data and commands it received, automatically generating many entirely new data commands.

This independent thinking ability gave Chisako a fully autonomous intelligent core that surpassed every other Artificial Intelligence.
Chisako's intelligent core endowed her with independent perception, cognition, reasoning, learning, and execution abilities.
After first gaining access to the internet, the limitless volume of data left Chisako astonished by the world's richness and variety. Chen Mengchuan still remembered the first words Chisako had said after he connected her to the internet: "Father, I like this world of light and shadow. It is real."
After checking several times to make sure the framework in his hands had no omissions, Chen Mengchuan finally stopped. The main task ahead was to fill out those frameworks. With only himself working on it now, the workload was clearly enormous. After estimating it, Chen Mengchuan planned to complete everything within three months. He needed some help...
Aside from programming Chisako, Chen Mengchuan also faced another very difficult problem: a supercomputer.
There was no issue with writing Chisako's framework and core on his laptop, but data testing and actual operation could only be accomplished on a supercomputer. Even activating Chisako required one.
After thinking for a long time, Chen Mengchuan went to find his father, a retired veteran official who had served Xia Science Academy for thirty years.
"You want to borrow Su Xi City's supercomputer?"
After pondering for a long while, Father Chen continued, "Su Xi City's supercomputer is one of China's most advanced and important core strategic facilities. If I were still at Xia Science Academy, I might be able to help you. But now, I can't guarantee I can get a word in." Father Chen answered after a long silence.
Chen Mengchuan nodded and sighed inwardly. His retired veteran official father could not be relied on; he would have to find another solution for the supercomputer himself.
"Perhaps you could ask the Sun Family. His eldest son is Dell's regional agent for eastern China. A businessman who deals with server hardware year-round might have some connections to supercomputers," Father Chen said slowly.
"I'll ask around." Chen Mengchuan smiled and nodded. Having an elder at home was like having a treasure.
As he spoke, he took out his phone and called Sun Weijie's father, Sun Zhongshi.
The call connected quickly. After Chen Mengchuan exchanged a few pleasantries, he briefly explained his situation. Though Sun Zhongshi was young, he was still a businessman and quickly understood what Chen Mengchuan meant. After agreeing, he took out his phone and called his eldest brother.
Not long afterward, Chen Mengchuan's phone rang.
"Hello." Chen Mengchuan answered the call.
"Hello, I'm Sun Zhongyong. Am I speaking to Mr. Mengchuan?" came the reply from the other end.
"This is Chen Mengchuan."
"I heard about Mr. Mengchuan's matter from Zhongshi. I'm in downtown Su City right now. I'll drive over and pay Mr. Mengchuan a visit. Would that be convenient?" Sun Zhongyong spoke politely.
"Certainly. Come over and join us for a simple meal when you arrive," Chen Mengchuan replied with equal politeness.
"Then wait a moment, Mengchuan. I'll be there shortly."
After hanging up, Father Chen slowly asked, "Are you in a hurry?"
"Yes, very." Chen Mengchuan nodded at his father. But he had no way to tell him that in twenty years, an alien spacecraft would descend upon Earth, and humanity would be wiped out within nine hours.
Sun Zhongyong arrived a little faster than Chen Mengchuan had expected, reaching Chen Mengchuan's home shortly after ten.
He had a close-cropped haircut, a tall, lean build, and looked to be around forty. In a fitted long-sleeved shirt and glasses, Sun Zhongyong looked more like a teacher than a businessman.
"Mengchuan has done my Sun Family a great kindness. There are only two brothers in our family, myself and Sun Zhongshi. I wasn't blessed with sons, only two daughters, so my nephew Weijie is the Sun Family's only male heir. Later, I heard that when Mengchuan saw Weijie fall into the water, he leaped from the bridge into the Luoyin River. Otherwise, that Luoyin Water Ghost would surely have claimed Weijie's life."
Sun Zhongyong spoke with sincerity. Having done business for many years, he had built a considerable enterprise, and there was a sense of old-school loyalty in his words.
Chen Mengchuan shook his head. "Brother Sun, if you'd seen it, you would have saved him too."
"Perhaps I would have entered another river, but I truly wouldn't dare enter the Luoyin River. Ever since I was young, I've seen and heard too much about it. "An ordinary model will do. I probably won't need it until three months from now, but I'll need to use it for quite a long time. Do you have any connections, Brother Sun?" Chen Mengchuan replied.
Sun Zhongyong thought for a moment, then said slowly, "Many domestic supercomputing centers actually have low utilization rates, but they aren't keen on renting out their supercomputers. Unless you're a major institution such as a university research department, it is quite troublesome for ordinary companies and individuals to rent one. If you only need a standard supercomputer for long-term use, you might as well buy one yourself."
"Brother Sun, I don't have that much capital to buy a supercomputer." Chen Mengchuan shook his head with a bitter smile. If he had sufficient funds, he would naturally prefer to buy one himself.
"How much money are you planning to put up?" Sun Zhongyong asked.
"I have around eight hundred thousand on hand. I also have an apartment in Su City that I intend to mortgage to the bank. I could probably borrow around two million from it," Chen Mengchuan said.
Sun Zhongyong frowned slightly. After thinking for a long time, he shook his head and said, "With less than three million in funds, even if you rented a supercomputer, you wouldn't be able to use it for long. Mengchuan, I don't know what you need a supercomputer for, but I can introduce you to someone. Let's see whether he has a way to help you build a supercomputer for 2.8 million."
