Theresa, Stelle, March 7th, and Dan Heng were already awake and eating breakfast at the Goethe Hotel, discussing their next move.
"How did you all sleep last night?" Dan Heng asked, wiping his mouth with a napkin after finishing his breakfast and looking at the three women.
"Mm, I slept okay," Theresa replied sheepishly. She had been sandwiched between March 7th and Stelle as a human pillow last night, given how petite she was.
"Hugging the soft and fragrant Theresa, I slept really well," Stelle said with a chuckle.
"That's right, Theresa is so fragrant and soft! Hugging her is incredibly comfortable, I slept so well!" March 7th exclaimed, hugging Theresa excitedly. Theresa rolled her eyes at them and focused on her meal, knowing this might be their last meal in the upper city, and she needed to eat her fill to have the energy to fight.
[Ding dong, a new fun mission has arrived. Convince Bronya and Gepard to travel to the lower city together, leaving Cocolia with no one to use, turning her into a lone commander. Reward, hmm, let this system check, the reward needs to be set by this system itself? Forget it, too troublesome, I'll draw the reward randomly later.]
The Herta Space Station System grumbled lazily, unwilling to dwell on it. Theresa was also happy to hear about the mission, as this was how she relied on things to get stronger. She already had an idea about how to scare Cocolia, and she planned to cause a huge scene during the final battle!
"Theresa said something might happen today, but isn't everything fine now? I think you guys were just worrying too much!" March 7th said cheerfully after finishing her breakfast and ruffling Theresa's hair.
"Yeah, isn't everything fine now?" Stelle chimed in with a smile.
"When March 7th says something like that, it usually means something is about to happen, right, Theresa?" Dan Heng stood up and complained helplessly, as he could already hear the sound of heavy footsteps approaching the Goethe Hotel.
"March 7th, your 'lucky mouth' is really accurate," Theresa said, looking at a stunned March 7th with a helpless sigh.
"Rumble."
The sound of heavy footsteps reached the Goethe Hotel, and the old proprietor, flustered, quickly opened the door.
"May I ask what brings the Iron Cavalry to our humble establishment?" the old proprietor asked nervously, looking at the grim-faced Bronya and Gepard.
"By order of the Supreme Guardian, we are here to apprehend traitors who endanger Belobog! Civilians, disperse!" Gepard shouted loudly. His words caused the old proprietor's face to turn ashen, and some staff quickly pulled him back. The old proprietor watched in disbelief as a large group of Iron Cavalry members marched into the hotel lobby and surrounded the Stellaron Hunters.
"Gepard, Gepard, what did I tell you yesterday?" Theresa asked with a smile, looking at Bronya and Gepard, who seemed a bit uncomfortable.
"We sincerely apologize, but we cannot disobey the Supreme Guardian's orders. Perhaps this is just a misunderstanding?" Gepard said, blushing slightly. He knew the Stellaron Hunters were innocent, which was why he hadn't immediately ordered the Iron Cavalry to apprehend them.
"You'd better not resist, because Mother has become very erratic. She actually issued an order to apprehend you, regardless of whether you live or die."
"So, for your own safety, we advise everyone not to resist," Bronya said quietly to the Stellaron Hunters, looking quite unnatural.
The Iron Cavalry members stated that they were following the orders of Commander Bronya and Garrison Officer Gepard.
"Everyone, hold on. I have a suggestion, but we'll need to go somewhere less crowded," Theresa said, fanning herself with her fan-shaped weapon with a smile. Stelle took out her baseball bat, ready for action, while March 7th readied her bow and arrow, and Dan Heng drew his Cloud-Piercer spear, standing beside Theresa {Stargazer} and glaring at the Iron Cavalry.
"Garrison Officer Gepard, this is a densely populated town center. Perhaps you could escort them to a more open area to talk? After all, the unfamiliar look on my mother's face..." Bronya whispered to Gepard. Gepard nodded upon hearing this; he had also noticed something was wrong with the Supreme Guardian, whose personality had become extremely unfamiliar. He was also looking for his sister, Serval.
"Alright then, put away your weapons," Gepard said to the Iron Cavalry.
"Yes!" The Iron Cavalry put away their weapons. Sampo, who had somehow blended in with the Iron Cavalry, hid his smiling expression behind his mask. He wanted to see how the actors {Stellaron Hunters} would handle this desperate situation.
Seeing the Iron Cavalry put away their weapons, the Stellaron Hunters naturally did the same and followed Gepard and Bronya out of the Goethe Hotel, surrounded by the Iron Cavalry. The old proprietor breathed a sigh of relief as the large group of Iron Cavalry left; he had nearly had a heart attack.
"It's a good thing it wasn't the old man's hotel that was the problem. Phew~" The old proprietor was helped away by the staff to rest, as the shock had been too much for him to handle.
The Stellaron Hunters, surrounded by the Iron Cavalry, were led to a secluded area amidst the surprised onlookers of the people. This place was the station leading to the lower city. The train to the lower city had been sealed off, so there was hardly anyone here.
"Alright, there's no one to pry here. The Iron Cavalry can be trusted; they are all brothers. I know you are innocent, but we cannot disobey the Supreme Guardian's orders," Gepard said to the Stellaron Hunters, signaling the Iron Cavalry to spread out.
Sampo, seeing this, became eager. This was the train station leading to the lower city. All he needed to do was throw a few sleeping gas grenades, and he could incapacitate a group of Iron Cavalry. Then, he could lead the actors {Stellaron Hunters} to the lower city, and everything would be smooth sailing.
"I'm sure you all know that the Supreme Guardian we are familiar with is acting strangely. I'm sure Bronya and Gepard have experienced this deeply, haven't they?" Theresa {Stargazer} said wisely, fanning herself with the fan that had transformed from Judas. March 7th and the others stood cheerfully behind her.
"It really is like that. She was perfectly fine yesterday, but today she's suddenly acting so strangely. However, as members of the Silvermane Guard, we can't disobey her orders."
Bronya said in a slightly troubled whisper. The guards at this moment had already stationed themselves far away outside the space station, as some matters were best not to get involved in for survival. They knew they were just small figures, not qualified to be entangled in these affairs.
So, they all consciously stationed themselves on the outer perimeter of the space station, pretending they hadn't heard anything.
"Opportunity knocks! Eat this smoke bomb!"
Suddenly, one guard excitedly threw a large batch of smoke bombs that emitted white smoke. The guards, in their astonishment, inhaled the white smoke released by the bombs. Immediately, a heavy drowsiness overcame the guards and everyone else.
"Cough, cough, cough!"
"Was this your plan?!"
No one had expected such a sudden turn of events. Gepard quickly shielded the guards, thinking he had fallen into a trap. He instinctively looked at Theresa and the others, assuming they were behind it.
Theresa watched in surprise as a large group of people lay groggily on the ground. Only she, Dan Heng, and a struggling Bronya and Gepard remained, fighting off the intense drowsiness.
"Uh, this wasn't us!"
Theresa quickly shouted. As a half-Fusion Warrior, she naturally wouldn't be affected. As for Dan Heng, he was the reincarnation of Dan Feng; it would be laughable if the Imbibitor Dragon God were to be knocked out.
In truth, Dan Heng had considered pretending to faint, but seeing Theresa still full of energy, he scooped up the unconscious March 7th and Stelle with one arm and stood beside Theresa. Theresa was more than capable of dealing with these people.
"Hehehe, long time no see, everyone~"
A guard cheerfully removed his mask and hat, revealing dark blue hair and a roguish smile. It was Sampo!
"Wow, it really is you~"
Theresa exclaimed in surprise, looking at Sampo.
