Background / History

Stelle was created when Kafka and Silver Wolf implanted a Stellaron into her chest in Herta Space Station’s sealed section. She awakened afterward with no memories beyond her name, then armed herself with a Baseball Bat Curio while Theresa, March 7th, and Dan Heng escorted her through the Antimatter Legion invasion. She immediately felt an affinity with Theresa, believing they shared similarly hidden secrets. 9

Herta identifies Stelle as a troublesome Stellaron collectible that has become a person, while Stelle herself can provide no further account of her identity. Her Destruction energy briefly surges out of control after the Doomsday Beast’s defeat, forcing Welt to knock her unconscious before she can explode. 10 12

After helping resolve the crisis at Herta Space Station, Stelle chooses to leave with the Astral Express’s Stellaron Hunters. 17 On Jarilo-VI, she joins the group’s effort to contain the ice Stellaron and learns that it has corrupted Cocolia. 26 50

During the battle at Everwinter Peak, Stelle throws herself in front of an attack meant for Theresa. Her near-death experience carries her into the Path’s interstice, where she witnesses Belobog’s history, makes a vow to protect others, and awakens the Power of Preservation. 60 74

Personality

Stelle is curious, impulsive, and unusually open to strange experiences. She willingly tests Theresa’s transformation mask, spends three hours posing as a Mechanical Bird to deliver takeout, and becomes a local viral sensation as a food-eating “Mechanical Bird Mukbanger.” 107 108

She habitually presents herself through grandiose hero titles—particularly “Galactic Bat Hero”—yet her bravado is paired with genuine courage. She protects Kafka from the prospect of an inhumane interrogation, shields Liu Ying when she believes the latter is in danger, and declares that she never backs down during her Dreamweavers Academy audition. 111 395 465

Despite her good intentions, Stelle can be gullible. The Onparos Senate successfully lures her into its headquarters by using a lost little girl as bait; however, she discreetly activates Theresa’s alarm ring after realizing she has been captured. 587

Her childlike innocence is significant enough that she can see Clock Boy when Welt and Liu Ying cannot. Clock Boy explicitly attributes this to Stelle’s pure heart. 406
