Someone had already arrived at the entrance to Yae Shrine.
But it was not Yae Sakura and Higanbana.

Kallen panted, supporting herself against the doorframe at the entrance as she walked into Yae Shrine.
Kallen had come here to look for something.
Though she did not know whether it was here, since there was a possibility, Kallen wanted to try.
Because this might have been the only way Kallen could intervene in the battle between those two monstrous giants.
Since this was also Yae Shrine, it should have things that the other Yae Shrines had as well.
For instance... Xu Yanwu's statue.
The statue that sat cross-legged with its five centers facing heaven... and lacked a heart.
Xu Yanwu had said that it was his body, but it was missing its heart.
The reason Kallen had come to Yae Shrine looking for the statue was because she was holding something in her hand.
Kallen slipped her hand into her pocket and tightly gripped a Jade Ring.
It was said to be the Jade Ring that was Xu Yanwu's heart.
Even though this was another Yae Village, Kallen still wanted to try and see whether this heart could affect Xu Yanwu's body in this Yae Shrine.
What would happen if the Jade Ring was returned to Xu Yanwu's heart? Kallen did not know.
But things had already become this terrible. No matter how much worse they got, what did it matter?
It was better to seize this last sliver of hope and see if she could salvage the awful situation.
