Everything of value had been taken away, and Fortress Two had been heavily damaged. The gate mechanisms, the castle gates, the decorations inside the castle, and various easily destroyed structures had all been wrecked. Fortunately, the castle was largely built of stone, and most of its structure was difficult to damage. Otherwise, nothing but ruins would likely have remained by the time Terra's army took over.
An inspection revealed that the wells had also been poisoned. Terra had no choice but to summon medical personnel from the rear to purify the water source. A group of mages led by Modu, sent as support from Sinterland, also played a major role.
After resting briefly at Fortress Two and leaving behind some soldiers to repair the damaged areas of the city and protect the logistics personnel purifying the water, the main army immediately set out for Fortress One.
