It seemed to be true, at least the changes in himself were real.

Recent news had been reporting abnormal weather conditions around the world, and the long-dormant doomsday theories were once again rampant online. Xu Nan had almost believed them and was preparing to stock up on instant noodles, but now, having inherited the supreme bloodline from another world, he saw the door to a new world.

If everything in his mind was true, it meant that a Western magic fantasy world similar to Dungeons & Dragons was about to invade Earth. From the initial collision phase to the later convergence phase and finally the fusion phase, it would take no more than three years for his world to undergo a massive transformation.

In his perception, Sorcerers were the typical rich and handsome profession – good-looking with high charisma, making it easy to pick up girls; they didn't need to study, just awaken their bloodline power to gain the ability to cast spells, which was much more leisurely than those otaku Mages who spent all day wearing thick glasses, researching spell models or magic systems in deep, dark Mage Towers; Sorcerers participated in adventures more to improve their spell techniques and gain experience, or purely for fun. Compared to other miserable non-magic professions, Sorcerers were usually both rich and powerful.

Aside from occasionally being envied for being too handsome, which could twist people's minds, they basically had no flaws.

But the bloodline inheritance Xu Nan obtained, called the Ron Sorcerer, seemed a bit different.

Ron Sorcerers claimed to be the most powerful group of people in the multiverse. Their bloodline was incredibly strong. The most powerful Ron Sorcerers could single-handedly challenge Arcane Masters with Cloud Ascending Ships or Grand Mages hiding in Floating Cities, and could even destroy weak deities with one hand.

Ron Sorcerers had a unique bloodline growth system – which was what Xu Nan had seen earlier on the character sheet and in the various strange quests. As long as they completed the quests, they would have a chance to awaken the power hidden within their bloodline and gain a large number of skill points, spells, and feats.

They even had their own dedicated planes and spacetime tunnels. Everyone who became a Ron Sorcerer was fortunate, but the growth journey of every Ron Sorcerer was arduous.

Like Xu Nan now.

In the corner of the character sheet, the description of him was:

A fledgling Ron Sorcerer, you must overcome your shame to gain the recognition of the supreme bloodline and awaken your own power. You are still very weak now. Do you have the resolve to do whatever it takes for power?

Xu Nan's answer was, of course:

"No!"

"If I can do whatever it takes for power, then what's the difference between me and Daniel Wu (Note 2)?"

"For a mere bit of power, you want me to abandon my shame? Impossible!"

Of course, Xu Nan couldn't actually follow the bloodline awakening quest and confess to that nurse sister. Who knew how this quest was designed? Although at the time he was getting circumcised, he really thought that sister's shy expression was super cute, but that didn't mean he had to confess to her!

This damn bloodline awakening system, couldn't it give a simpler quest?

However, if the things he saw were all true, then things were serious.

Xu Nan clearly saw that by next spring at the latest, a large number of creatures from other worlds would appear in his city. The physical laws of Earth might change, and it was still unknown whether human thermal weapons could withstand these creatures at that time.

"Got it." Xu Nan didn't hear a sound, but judging from the shape of the mouth, it seemed to be this.

He subconsciously wanted to glance into the room, but the angle of the door suddenly changed. The other party's wary eyes made Xu Nan chuckle bitterly.

Even in the darkness, he could see the other person's appearance clearly – long eyelashes, big eyes, a slender neck below a fair face, a cute and playful light pink pajama clinging to the skin, revealing a flat chest, and cute slippers with bows on their feet.

Note 1: D&D, or Dungeons & Dragons. It is mainly a Western fantasy worldview, including rigorous settings and interesting content. Readers who don't understand D&D will not be affected by this book, and readers who do understand D&D are also hoped to understand some of the magical modifications. In my opinion, D&D is more of a rigorous game spirit than a worldview.

Note 2: The Daniel Wu meme comes from the Warcraft movie, where his portrayal of Gul'dan is a Sorcerer who is famous for doing whatever it takes for power.
