After several large-scale, unpleasant, bloody conflicts, the First Mountain Range had practically become a forbidden zone for visiting legends. Outside legends who wished to set foot there even had to submit a letter requesting a visit more than half a year in advance.
Icewind Territory had also been included within the First Mountain Range's outlying branches, so few legendary powerhouses dared intrude without permission.
Professionals below legendary rank, on the other hand, had no such rules, and many of them did not even know those restrictions existed.
