After shaking hands with Su Hao, Ye Fan hurriedly ran toward the Pokémon Center again with Stufful in his arms.

Having won one match, Su Hao did not leave. Instead, he pressed the matchmaking button again.

The previous battle had not drained much of Incineroar's stamina, so fighting a few more matches would not be a problem.

This time, his opponent was a middle-aged man, whose Pokémon was a Late Normal Level Mightyena.

Mightyena was a Dark-type Pokémon whose appearance closely resembled that of a wild wolf.

The moment Mightyena entered the arena, it let out a threatening growl at Su Hao and Incineroar, looking exceptionally combative.

As an expert with the Intimidate Ability, Incineroar paid Mightyena's threat no mind at all.

The two sides did not exchange any pleasantries. As soon as the Rotom referee announced the start of the battle, they attacked simultaneously.

"Mightyena, Snarl!"

"Incineroar, Fury Swipes!"

Mightyena opened its long muzzle full of sharp fangs and let out a deafening roar.

Incineroar directly endured the damage from Snarl. Its sturdy limbs raced across the Battle Arena, and within a few breaths, it had closed in on Mightyena.

"Meowrr! Meowrr!"

The sharp claws hidden in its paw pads lengthened beneath a coating of Normal-type energy, then viciously raked across Mightyena's head before it could react after using its move.

"Get some distance!"

Mightyena took Incineroar's claw head-on. With a pained cry, it followed its Trainer's command and tried to pull away from Incineroar.

There was no way Incineroar would easily let it create distance after deliberately taking a Snarl just for the chance to fight up close.

Su Hao immediately ordered Incineroar to keep pace with Mightyena.

Pressed closer and closer by Incineroar and unable to widen the gap at all, Mightyena had no choice but to engage Incineroar in close combat.

Claws and fangs flew on both sides. After several exchanges, neither side gained the upper hand.

Having more or less figured out Mightyena's capabilities, Su Hao no longer intended to continue this close-quarters brawl.

"Incineroar, use U-turn and attack Mightyena's waist!"

Incineroar turned into a streak of green light and struck Mightyena directly in its vulnerable waist.

"Incineroar, finish it! Use Heat Wave!"

A scorching hurricane blew out from Incineroar's Flame Bag. Mightyena, struck head-on by the Heat Wave, was completely Out of Battle.

After the Rotom referee announced the result, Su Hao watched the middle-aged man hurriedly take Mightyena away for treatment and sighed.

"How'd I end up looking like a villain..."

After two consecutive battles, it was already time for lunch.

No matter what, eating came first.

Su Hao decided to treat himself and Incineroar, who had fought two matches in a row, to a luxurious lunch. Naturally, Carbink would get its share too.

As he left Battle Arena No. 13, Li Hua and Jiang Chengcheng, who had been battling in Battle Arenas No. 14 and No. 15 beside his, happened to come out as well.

After comparing results, Su Hao and Jiang Chengcheng had both won two in a row, while Li Hua had one win and one loss.

In his first match, Li Hua's Swablu had happened to face a Late Normal Level Pokémon. Even after going all out, it had fallen just short and lost the first battle.

No matter what, the morning's battles had given all three of them some gains.

After lunch at a Pokémon-themed restaurant, the three took a short rest and prepared for the afternoon's battles.
