"How wonderful! Your flames and Incineroar's flames actually evaporated our Giant Wave!"

"To return the favor, this round is yours, Garganacl!"

Garganacl was a blue, quadrupedal sea beast Pokémon. Long white whiskers extended from its snout, while the back of its head bore a huge beige, round shell with spear-like spikes. The sharp, helmet-like shell protruded forward. Its belly was covered in a blue-gray shell-like carapace.

Its limbs were covered in segmented beige bracer-like armor. In battle, it used the shell-based bracers on its forelimbs as swords known as Razor Shells.

As an expert swordsman, Garganacl could transform part of the armor on its forelegs into enormous blades, attacking enemies with swords drawn from within its armor. A single swing could knock an opponent down. One glare could silence its enemies, and a roar could intimidate them. In the blink of an eye, it could slash foes with the twin Razor Shells on its forelegs before sheathing them again.

The swordsmanship Garganacl used was known as Iaido. Iaido emphasized defeating the enemy with a single strike. Garganacl could draw its blade, slash, and sheath it again in an instant.

The aura around the Garganacl Jie Wei had sent out was like a drawn sword, its edge fully exposed. It was unmistakably a formidable opponent at the Elite Level Late Stage!

A thick pillar of fire burst from Incineroar's mouth. With its emotions growing ever more intense, the Flame Bag supplied increasingly more fierce flames.

The blazing pillar shot straight toward Garganacl, but Garganacl did not move.

As the flames were cleaved apart, Garganacl's sharp Sword Intent erupted without reservation. For a moment, Incineroar even felt as though it would be split in half by that blade.

But this was not the time to retreat! Only by defeating Garganacl could it make things easier for big sister Carbink against the next Professional Level Pokémon!

"Meowrraah!"

Facing Garganacl's icy Sword Intent, Incineroar let out a fearless roar!

"Flame Charge!"

Since Ranged Moves would be split apart, they could only try close combat and look for an opening. Su Hao instantly made his judgment of the battle!

"Draw it in, Fury Swipes!"

As an expert with a sword, Jie Wei's Garganacl naturally wanted a Close Combat exchange. Incineroar's actions suited her perfectly!

Wrapped in flames, Incineroar accelerated faster and faster as it charged, gradually leaving behind a red afterimage!

Garganacl extended one Razor Shell, its tip lengthening into Emerald Green.

As the two sides exchanged attacks in a blur of Thunder and Lightning, the spectators did not dare breathe, staring fixedly at the arena for fear of missing the moment that decided victory.

Su Hao understood that if this continued, Incineroar's stamina would give out first!

In that case, they could only gamble everything on one move!

Having made up his mind, Su Hao released his aura power without reservation and linked it to Incineroar!

A powerful gust of wind swept outward from Su Hao. His blue jacket fluttered fiercely, like battle armor!

Incineroar stomped with all four limbs and charged toward Garganacl, wreathed in a Blazing Storm and carrying an unstoppable momentum!

Along the path Incineroar ran, the battlefield seemed to melt under the heat, leaving behind a straight trail!

Seeing that Su Hao and Incineroar intended to use their final strike, Jie Wei's expression grew grave as well. "Iaido: Aqua Cutter!"

Facing Incineroar's berserk assault, Garganacl made no move. Instead, it slowly drew its Razor Shells back into its arm guards and closed its eyes like a meditator entering stillness. The Sword Intent that seemed capable of cutting apart everything also withdrew, just like a blade returning to its sheath.

What was going on? Was Garganacl giving up resistance? Some tourist spectators began whispering in confusion, but the locals who knew Garganacl's battle style had already broken out in cold sweat for Incineroar.

Accompanied by its approaching roar, a burning Crimson Meteor shot straight at Garganacl from the other end of the arena!

Just before the Crimson Meteor struck Garganacl, its eyes snapped open. An unstoppable Sword Intent, as though it could tear apart the sky, burst forth from Garganacl!

"Bzzzz----."

A clear sword hum rang out. The instantly drawn Deep Blue Great Blade collided with the Crimson Meteor, producing grating friction that made teeth ache.

Garganacl's arms trembled slightly. It had never expected that its ultimate technique would not only fail to cut apart the enemy charging straight into its blade, but would instead be suppressed head-on!

A wave of gasps rose from the stands once more. The tourists who had thought Garganacl had abandoned the fight were stunned by its sudden sky-piercing attack, while the locals were shocked that Garganacl, even after using its Iaido ultimate, was actually at a disadvantage against Incineroar!

With a click, the protective barrier in front of the stands suddenly activated. The energy produced by their clash had reached a level that could threaten the spectators.

"Meowrraahhh----!"

Lofty conviction drove the blazing flames in the Flame Bag to pour forth without end. Wrapped from head to toe in that fire, Incineroar looked increasingly dazzling.

Fighting spirit, determination, conviction, courage... all of it converged into blazing flames. The result, transformed into a Crimson Meteor, was that Garganacl's Iaido Razor Shells—capable of cleaving waterfalls apart—could now barely even maintain their guard.

Though Incineroar stood at the center of the steam-filled clash, it remained the hottest and brightest presence within the vision flooded by Mist!

"Sizzle----."

Before anyone could react to what the sound was, a blinding light surged across the arena in the next instant. An even denser white exploded from the center of the clash, tearing apart and replacing the Mist that filled the battlefield.

Dazzling white radiance burst forth from the collision, forcing the spectators who had been staring fixedly into the arena to shut their eyes and turn away.

As the light gradually faded, Incineroar's figure had already vanished. In its place stood a muscular tiger-like Pokémon.
