Su Hao first went over to Incineroar, Cycloze, Zeraora, and Lucario, all of whom had put on aprons, masks, and gloves. They were working assembly-line style to skewer the marinated chunks of meat and vegetables Su Hao had prepared.
Tonight's main course was barbecue. There were quite a few big eaters on the team, and their appetites were enormous, so naturally, the workload of skewering ingredients had risen accordingly.
Lucario and Zeraora gave Su Hao the least trouble. If they were at school, they would be the obedient honor students who needed no supervision whatsoever.
Cycloze, meanwhile, was the sort of student whose mouth said no while its body was honest. Though it wore a face full of reluctance, it was willing to contribute some labor for the sake of good food.
