"Sure enough, it was you."

Ji Li gripped the iron nail deeply embedded in his left shoulder with his right hand, while his left pressed against the Coffin Lid bearing down before him. He found a gap roughly two fingers wide.

The extra iron nail represented the distance between him and the Coffin Lid—only two fingers' width.

That oppressive darkness was perhaps closely tied to this cramped distance. The air he exhaled circulated within the coffin, making the atmosphere even more stifling.

It was not his first time entering a coffin, but it was his first time being sealed alive inside one.

The long, slender iron nail pierced through the wooden coffin and aimed once more at Ji Li, trapped inside.

Even though he could see nothing in the darkness, Ji Li could roughly judge the nail's position from the sound. It was aimed at his right shoulder.

With his left shoulder nailed down, and the coffin evidently not made to fit him, its narrowness left him almost no room to struggle.
