Ji Li clenched the white Gauze Curtain in his right hand, frowning as he murmured her name.
That was all the information that had come through. After saying those things, Lu Jingting had vanished from the communication channel.
Ji Li checked the time. It was now 11:32 a.m.
Given the clerks' usual methods, the cafeteria should not have been a place to visit, yet Lu Jingting had indeed encountered the Black-clothed person there.
She had therefore violated the fourth rule of the General School Rules.
Nothing about this was unexpected. In Ji Li's plan, there was supposed to be a "rule-breaker" other than Luo Ge.
The life of that "rule-breaker" would then be exchanged with the Red-clothed Ghost in the library, allowing them to gather the library rules and open up the Red Net world.
Lu Jingting's violation was likely inseparable from Luo Ge's attempt to save himself.
But Luo Ge had gone too far. He was trying to kill Lu Jingting outright.
In Ji Li's plan, no one else was supposed to die during the day. Lu Jingting had to remain alive until nightfall.
With that thought, he turned to head out through the door of Room 1307.
But the moment he turned around, the Third Personality suddenly let out a startled cry, stopping him in his tracks.
"The window! Someone just fell from outside!"
Ji Li hurriedly turned back, leaned over the windowsill, and looked down through the glass.
Yet from this angle, there were no corpses or bloodstains to be found on the open ground below.
The Third Personality would never be mistaken. Deeply puzzled, Ji Li tilted his head and glanced at Duan Yanyan beside him.
Since entering Room 1307, Duan Yanyan had not said another word. Her hands were folded before her lower
