Background and History

Li Hui was originally an ordinary student with poor academic prospects. The Iron Blood Gang approached him before he left for vocational college and provided an undergraduate admission letter in exchange for his membership. He accepted immediately, later realizing the organization expected repayment for its support. 32

At PZH Academy, Li Hui became the campus gang leader and an official trainee in the Fighting Club. He had once been impulsive and quick to fight, but a painful past lesson taught him to combine force with planning. 7 His family’s influence was substantial: the Li family’s group held shares in the school, allowing him to pressure its administration and affect its decisions. 23

The Iron Blood Gang later demanded Li Hui’s sister as payment for what it had given him. Li Hui viewed Zhou En as a threat to his official-trainee position and began plotting against him shortly after Zhou En joined the Fighting Club. He threatened Zhou En openly, arranged an ambush through Yue Hua and Scarface, and later sought Iron Blood Gang assistance after Zhou En publicly exposed the attack. 7 10 13 19

When Sun Peiyu’s testimony threatened to reveal his actions, Li Hui assaulted Zhou En, Director Liu, and Sun Peiyu in public. Police escorted him away, but the school still expelled Zhou En under pressure from the Li family. 22 23

Official-Team Selection

Li Hui challenged Zhou En during the Fighting Club’s selection matches and initially gained the advantage with an unconventional spinning kick. 36 37 He knocked Zhou En down again with a side kick and believed the match was over, but Zhou En recovered, combined Head Sway with the Sun Character Consecutive Fist, and defeated Li Hui. 38 39
