Ant-Man Suit

"Heh, this is interesting. Even the police mistook us for a couple. Do we really look that good together?"

While driving Li Congxin home, Hope couldn't help but tease the Eastern boy in front of her.

"Speaking of which, how low is your tolerance for humor? You've been laughing about this all the way!" Li Congxin finally couldn't help but protest. "Also, you've been paying special attention to me since the beginning today, and you followed me after school. You've gone to so much trouble, I'm sure it's not just to spar with me, right?"

Hope then cleared her throat and suppressed her smile. "You've noticed. I've been practicing combat all along and need to maintain my physical fitness through constant training. I heard there's a magical place nearby called Martha's Fitness Club, where working out is much more effective than elsewhere."

"Unfortunately, that fitness club is already at full capacity, which is why I specifically came to find you," Hope glanced at Li Congxin. "As you Easterners say, I'm looking for a backdoor."

So that's what it was about.

Li Congxin also hoped to have more people with significant destiny weight in his fitness club, as it would be more beneficial for him to collect Impression Points. Thus, he readily agreed. "No problem, I'll have someone arrange a membership for you later."

"Not just me, but my father too," Hope added. "I moved here from New Jersey with him, so you'll need to arrange two memberships."

First-Generation Ant-Man?

Li Congxin nodded. "No problem."

"Oh, and one more thing."

"There's more?" Li Congxin frowned in dissatisfaction. This girl seemed to be pushing her luck!

At this moment, Hope took an invitation from her pocket and placed it on the platform below the windshield in front of Li Congxin. "There's a charity masquerade ball tomorrow night. My dad and I were invited, but my dad isn't interested in such events. How about you accompany me?"

Li Congxin didn't take the invitation and directly refused, "I'm not interested either."

Hope chuckled slyly. "This charity masquerade ball is organized by Tony Stark, the president of Stark Industries. There will be countless handsome men and beautiful women, and elites from all walks of life. It's a lot of fun!"

If one were to ask who has the highest destiny weight in the Marvel universe, it would likely be the most popular Little Spider, Peter Parker, in both the Marvel Main Universe and the Ultimate Universe. But in this Marvel Cinematic Universe, it would be the future Iron Man, Tony Stark, with over 90% probability!

He could essentially be used to test the upper limit of Impression Points he could gain from a single person in a single encounter.

Furthermore, with the "elites from all walks of life" mentioned by Hope, there would definitely be some individuals with significant destiny weight. It wouldn't be a loss to seize the opportunity to gain some Impression Points.

With this thought, Li Congxin finally picked up the invitation. "Where can I buy the costume?"

By then, the car had arrived downstairs at Li Congxin's home. Hope smiled. "You don't need to buy the costume yourself; I've already prepared it for you. It's in the trunk. You're strong enough, so I don't think you'll need my help carrying it upstairs, right?"

Carrying the large box containing the ball costumes back home, Li Congxin, unable to contain his curiosity, immediately opened it to examine the contents.

He had expected a mere cosplay costume, but what appeared before his eyes surprised him greatly!

A helmet made of an unknown metal, resembling a plague doctor's mask; a full suit of red and black made of equally unknown leather...

This was no costume for a masquerade ball!

This was the Ant-Man Suit!

It would be a lie to say Li Congxin wasn't interested in this suit.

Although his God-Tier BGM System was an external aid, it was merely an accelerator, capable of speeding up the process of accumulating power but not directly providing it.

To gain power, he still needed to find other ways.

Over the previous two months, Li Congxin had considered many ways to acquire power, including the Ant-Man Suit.

In fact, the Ant-Man Suit was ranked highly on Li Congxin's list of plans.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe was much more peaceful and less chaotic than the Main Universe or the Ultimate Universe. Many major events could be chosen whether to participate in or avoid. For example, at the beginning of the Avengers 1 storyline, simply staying out of New York would have resolved most issues.

Li Congxin didn't see this as cowardly, but rather as a matter of necessity.

At least for now, without any benefits, Li Congxin lacked the motivation to risk his life and spill blood for foreigners.

However, while other disasters could be avoided, Thanos's snap was an insurmountable obstacle.

With a single snap, half of the intelligent life in the universe would randomly disappear.

Facing such a threat, where could one hide to ensure safety?

Answer: The Quantum Realm!

According to the Marvel worldview, the Quantum Realm had transcended the boundaries of time and space. It wasn't even considered part of this universe anymore but rather an existence in another dimension, thus it would be unaffected by Thanos's snap.

And as of now, First-Generation Ant-Man was the only one who had mastered the method of entering and exiting the Quantum Realm before Thanos's snap.

Of course, while Li Congxin was interested in the Ant-Man Suit and wouldn't mind becoming the Second-Generation Ant-Man, he absolutely did not want to become Hank Pym's puppet like the original Second-Generation Ant-Man, Scott Lang!

Therefore, in principle, he did not intend to interact with the Pym father and daughter too early, at least not until he had the qualifications for equal conversation.

But now, the Ant-Man Suit was right in front of him. To wear it or not, that was the question.

After a moment of hesitation, Li Congxin finally made up his mind.

Wear it!

Then, he scanned the room to ensure there were no other dangers before jumping onto the sofa. He stretched his body and his gaze fell upon the red button on the tiger's mouth of his right hand.

Here goes nothing!

As the red button on his right hand was pressed, Li Congxin indeed shrank with a "whoosh!" But before he could even celebrate, the next scene froze the smile on his face.

Li Congxin felt his body continuously shrinking, while everything around him relatively magnified.

The sofa, the cushions, the fluff... even dust that was normally invisible to the naked eye soon became as large as mountains.

After that, the surrounding scenery underwent a drastic transformation.

The colors around him became dazzlingly brilliant. Li Congxin felt as if he had entered a bizarre space resembling a kaleidoscope!
