Under the bright departure-guidance beams of Kuiper Station, the Giant Turtle Rock Platform patrol ship left the Starport smoothly and swiftly. It was now racing out of the civilian port's shielding zone. After Hao Ren engaged autopilot, there was nothing left for him to do, so he went to another console and casually switched the display mode around the bridge. The holographic images that had been showing various parameters and Space Station broadcast information quickly faded, and the alloy armor plating in front of the bridge seemed to turn transparent, revealing the actual view of outer space: only endless darkness surrounded them, distant stars glittered ahead, and the Space Station structures moving rapidly across the lower side of the display showed that the ship was adjusting its heading.
Lily spent one moment fiddling with the seat and the various intimidating-looking devices beside it, the next jumping down and running circles around the bridge, and the next staring at the starry sky outside and howling in wonder. She was infinitely exuberant within the limited space. In any case, the ship's main computer had intelligently locked all the critical control panels, and nobody except the captain could operate any of the equipment here. Hao Ren therefore let the Husky spirit run wild.
