A huge and magnificent World Gate stood silently in the dark depths of space, just like the previous one, but this World Gate was clearly much quieter.
Giant Turtle Rock Platform emerged from a curtain of light. No other spacecraft could be seen nearby, and the busy stream of traffic they had encountered on the other side of the gate seemed to have been sent to other worlds. The Data Terminal piloted the ship forward for a while, then used its external monitors to transmit an image of the scene behind them. Hao Ren saw a space facility that looked somewhat smaller than the previous one but was equally astounding. Not far from this World Gate stood a planetary fortress known as a "Sovereign Hub." However, there was only one Sovereign Hub here. Compared with his homeland, this universe was clearly some sort of... backwater.
The ship's public channel remained open to receive broadcasts from other spacecraft within a radius of one light-year. However, there were only a few scattered signals on the channel. Some came from beacon facilities near the World Gate, while others came from passing starships of unknown civilizations. They clearly had nothing to do with the group's destination.
"This place looks rather deserted." Hao Ren gazed at the starry sky as he spoke. The stars here were unfamiliar, and a dim brown radiance shimmered through the universe. A relatively bright nebula lay to the upper left of the bow, but when he focused his gaze on it, the system automatically reported that it was hundreds of millions of light-years away. The scale of space was truly something that could easily astonish people.
The Data Terminal was confirming their next heading. Upon hearing him, it explained, "There are many ungoverned regions like this in the Macro World.
