They reached Frost Snow City as Princess Constance headed south, while Hao Ren’s probe found the wreckage of the Apocalypse in the Gorgon Abyss.

• Hao Ren’s group escaped Greenway’s soldiers and the pursuing Black Sword Knights by breaking through the gate into the Black Pine Forest.
• Lia guided the caravan through the forest’s false worlds, revealing ancient battlefield visions and a ruined city where the Saint King had raised the dead and become the tree that sustained the forest.
• Hao Ren’s group rescued Kaim, a Broken Sword Knight, who joined them on the journey north and explained that a Broodmother guarded the way.
• Hao Ren’s group fought Gorgon Lords and their Splitting Bodies, and Hao Ren recovered a metal egg bearing Elly Geniel’s identification from one of the machines before it exploded.
• Lia revealed Elly Geniel’s final memory of fighting the Lord of Madness, and Hao Ren learned that the Gorgon Demons were products of the vaccine.
• Hao Ren’s group crossed the Black Pine Forest into the Northlands, where Kaim identified the Gorgon Abyss and Lia explained that it connected to the forest through collapsed Worldlines.
• At Frost Snow City, Kaim learned that Princess Constance and the Northern Archduke had already left for the southern front, so Hao Ren’s group stayed in the city as a blizzard approached.
• Hao Ren synchronized with the Data Terminal and saw Probe Three’s view of the Gorgon Abyss, including the wreckage of the starship Apocalypse.

Hao Ren and his allies fought the deep-world war while Constance led La Rian’s forces against Brundin and the Annihilation-corrupted Empire. Brundin’s defeat ended the recurring war, and the allies left La Rian with the Heart of God as Constance began rebuilding.

• Hao Ren investigated the Gorgon Abyss and found Malkiri’s warning that collapsing histories were converging on an apocalypse, while the Data Terminal uncovered a rift left by the Creation Goddess’s power.
• Lia warned Hao Ren that La Rian could collapse within two years, and the Lord of Madness’s influence spread through the capital and corrupted the Black Sword Knights.
• Lia saved Grand Duke Owen from Madness corruption, and Constance explained the Epochal Shift, the ancient successors, and the Black Sword Knight ritual.
• Hao Ren’s forces arrived to help Constance, while Nolan opened the Heart of God and Hao Ren deployed the Guardian Fleet against the deep-world threat.

• Hao Ren and Lia entered the golden discs’ illusion, discovered that Hao Ren had once been the God Slayer and stabbed Lia, and suspected their past selves had planned the act together.
• Lemendusa activated the Creation Engine, and Raven 12345 examined Hao Ren and Vivian before teaching Hao Ren a newly unlocked God Slayer ability.
• The Creation Goddess warned Pope Autums to prepare the Radiant Church and the surviving worlds for the awakened ancient evil, while the Einherjar Legion assembled for war.
• Hao Ren, Lia, and their allies defended Watchtower Fortress as the Night Watchers retreated from the Dark Abyss, and Tyr revealed that the Lord of Madness’s core lay beyond a chaotic spacetime barrier.
• Hao Ren, Vivian, and Lia entered the Chaos region aboard the Giant Turtle Rock Platform, while defenders across the worlds fought the spreading derivatives and chaos.
