A man devoid of any aura sat in a corner at the end of the banquet hall. His entire body was shrouded in a black robe, almost blending into the darkness around him. There were no decorations on the plain robe, making it impossible to imagine that its wearer had once been one of the highest leaders of the Demon Hunter organization. His face was covered by a strange mask. It was as lifelike as the golden masks of the ancient Egyptian pharaohs, but forged from black metal. Its features were sternly outlined, and if nothing had gone wrong, this should have been the face of this Saint before he was corrupted by forbidden knowledge.
Tutanin immediately recognized the identity of the man when he saw the mask. He cried out in a low voice, "Saint Betoris..."

Everyone stared in shock.
There was no flesh beneath the mask. In fact, there was not even any physical substance. A mass of grayish-white mist slowly churned inside Betoris's robe, without the slightest trace of anything that could be identified as a "core" or "skeleton." Once the mask was removed, the mist seemed to lose the restraints that had bound it all this time. It immediately rushed outward in every direction, vanishing almost in the blink
