It was not just Hao Ren imagining things. After coming into contact with so many supernatural events, he had already learned a great deal about this bizarre and abnormal world. He knew very well what things connected to gods were like—the gods were like powerful sources of information radiation, with countless strands of information and data naturally revolving around their activities. This remained true even after a god's death.
Raven 12345 had once stated clearly that the causal bond between the Godslaying Sword and the Creation Goddess would guide Hao Ren to the Founding Star. That gave him reason to suspect that every clue related to the godslaying events he encountered from then on would be affected by the Godslaying Sword.
Under such circumstances, it would be far too unsettling if he still knew nothing about the sword.
"Whenever I pick up this sword, a 'voice' keeps echoing in the depths of my mind. It's vague and ethereal, repeating obscure, incomprehensible sentences over and over like sleep-talk," Hao Ren said softly to Vivian. "In fact, it doesn't even sound like a voice. It's simply some foreign 'thoughts.' Although the Data Terminal hasn't found any signs that this sword possesses the characteristics of an intelligent life-form, I still suspect there's a consciousness inside it... It's just that its operating method is nonliving, perhaps even nonlogical, which is why conventional scans can't detect it. But since I can hear its voice, I feel that I might be able to communicate with it."
Vivian looked a little uneasy. "Could that be dangerous?"
"This sword was blessed by Raven 12345." Hao Ren smiled. "That sister may be unreliable, but her abilities have always been reliable."
"What are you planning to do?" Vivian looked curiously into Hao Ren's eyes. "You can't even understand its 'words.'"
