Hao Ren suddenly brought this up, and everyone fell silent.
Sometimes the truth was just that obvious. It sat right in front of you, but if nobody reminded you of it, you might overlook that obvious fact forever. Once Hao Ren connected the circular indentations on the surface of the giant metal sphere with the golden discs, everyone finally realized, as if waking from a dream, that the objects matched perfectly in size—and that their connection made perfect logical sense.
The Data Terminal immediately measured the exact dimensions of the indentations, along with the positions and sizes of every protrusion inside them, then compared the results with the parameters of the golden discs stored in its database. The conclusion was exactly as expected: "A perfect match, partner. These are docking ports prepared for the golden discs."
"Could it just be a coincidence? Are we really that lucky... Not even the slightest deviation?" Vivian asked instinctively. She felt that things which were too coincidental always lacked a sense of reality. Things weren't supposed to become dramatic all the time.
"This unit's measurement accuracy can reach the ultimate scale permitted by the material world," the Data Terminal immediately said in a solemn tone. It disliked anyone questioning any of its components or apps. "The golden discs match the indentations on this sphere with one hundred percent accuracy. There is absolutely no possibility of coincidence."
Vivian nodded and no longer voiced any objections. After all, this was an artifact left behind by the Creation Goddess, so it made sense that it would be connected to the golden discs. It was just that having two such significant objects happen to end up together was a little hard for her to believe.
"The golden discs are the data-processing modules of the Creation Engine." Hao Ren
