Either way, for Hao Ren, who was working hard to uncover the truth of the Dream Plane, it was an irresistible temptation.
The mysterious star sector had to be visited, but before going there, he still needed to make some arrangements.
There were three unmanned probes sent to the mysterious star sector—temporarily given the tacky name X Sector by Hao Ren. Probe No. 1 had already gone completely offline, but Probes No. 2 and No. 3 were in excellent condition and had begun a series of exploratory operations in X Sector. The first thing Hao Ren did was order the drone swarm to instruct the two probes to expand their exploration range and manufacture positioning beacons using local materials. The second task was especially important. Two drones alone could accomplish very little. Even though every individual drone in the swarm was capable of reproducing an entire swarm, it would still take an astronomical amount of time for the two exploration-model units to complete the mission. The best choice was to have the two drones wander around while scattering guidance beacons everywhere. Once those beacons formed a gravitational network, the main force of the drone swarm could be pulled into the area. As for expanding the exploration range, that was merely a routine task. It would take until the end of time for two drones to fully explore a massive celestial system made up of a large galaxy and several loose galaxies. Hao Ren only hoped that, before he arrived in X Sector, the two drones could investigate the area around the transit target.
