The spaceship silently made its way through the strange and mysterious clouds.
Just as Asuman had said, the intrusion of the "visitors" had partially awakened the ancient Star People, who had been sleeping for thousands or even ten thousand years. Although there was still no sign of the latter's main consciousness awakening, the reconstruction of local information continued unabated. On the images transmitted by the external monitors, the faintly glowing clouds constantly churned and swirled. From time to time, incredible things emerged from within them—sometimes a section of curved arches, sometimes a cluster of crystals, but more often merely indistinguishable cross-sections of crystal.
Those crystal cross-sections were not the true forms of any part of the Star People Spaceship. Instead, they were projections produced in certain special dimensions. The partial awakening had caused these "silhouettes," which should not have appeared in three-dimensional space, to emerge and form all kinds of bizarre scenes.
"We need to head for the very center of the cloud," the Asuman Crystal said unhurriedly as it floated beside Hao Ren. "Some relatively important structures may materialize there. We might even have a chance of awakening this ancient warrior."
Vivian glanced at the crystal. "It sounds like you aren't certain either?"
"I'm sorry, but that's indeed the case," Asuman said frankly. "I've never seen a Star People Spaceship with this kind of structure. It must have been created after I entered the Kolo World. This spaceship uses an architecture that never existed during the ancient era... But according to my experience, the core region of the clouds is always where the Thought Crystal is located. We can't go wrong by heading in that direction."
"Hopefully, your judgment is accurate." Hao Ren nodded, then ordered Nolan to speed up slightly and fly toward the center of the cloud.
