Deep within the base cluster, the Nakdal Continent was the last large fortress that had yet to be relocated.
The transformation of this fortress-like floating continent was actually still unfinished. This was mainly because Hao Ren had no experience designing a colossal fortress. He had taken the recommended plan deduced by the Data Terminal and put it directly into practice, arranging many powerful but difficult-to-implement functions on the blueprint of Nakdal Fortress. Only after construction began did they discover that Nakdal's basic framework was not sufficiently compatible with the newly added equipment, making additional modification work necessary. This ultimately delayed the schedule. Even now, only two-thirds of the transformation goals on the blueprint had been completed.
Even so, the fortress's primary functions were already ready. The most important continent-level shield, giant engine array, Trans-dimensional unit, power furnace, and weapon arrays had all passed inspection. After realizing that the design had to conform to reality, Hao Ren decisively shut down all the impractical "cutting-edge technology projects" and instead equipped Nakdal with a huge number of drone storage bays and fortress Missile Launchers. He then announced that the fortress was ready for battle.
"Nakdal—command center online. Command center operating normally. Power furnace efficiency—one hundred percent. Basic systems normal. Defense systems normal. Weapon systems normal. Navigation systems normal. Trans-dimensional engine beginning energization... thirty percent, sixty percent... Trans-dimensional engine entering critical state. Ready for activation at any time..."
The system logs sent from Nakdal Fortress were transmitted to the mainframe of the Giant Turtle Rock Platform, then relayed by Nolan. As the ship girl's crisp, pleasant voice rang out, Hao Ren watched as the entire space continent was gradually covered in a water-like texture. It began to tremble like a reflection in water, and its edges became visibly blurred. The operating method of an
