Thunder and lightning raged around Thunder Mountain. The endless storm ceaselessly scourged the entire mountain, and the closer they drew to those enormous cylindrical black stones, the more intensely everyone felt the colossal pressure emanating from this gigantic ancient device.
Galadriel led everyone past the floating stone rings around Thunder Mountain. Lily clung to the side and looked out, spotting tiny houses and spires on one of the stone rings. They looked like a miniature town, protected from the storms outside by a thin hemispherical shield. She asked curiously, "People live up there?"

More than half the people in the entire city-state are mages, and they're the only mortal race that has successfully explored Thunder Mountain's outskirts and built an outpost here," Galadriel called back loudly. They're a bunch of people with a passion for exploration, and they deserve respect. People die here every year, but the mages still come one after another."
Hao Ren called out, "Shouldn't we go say hello?"
"Say hello? If the Dragon Queen idly visited a town of human and elven mages, a lot of people wouldn't be able to sleep at night." Galadriel shook her head. "They've already seen us, but passing by at a distance won't cause any trouble. Hold on tight, everyone. We're going between the second magnetic coil
