The blood sample in the cylindrical container sat motionless like the most ordinary liquid. Perhaps "quiet" was a strange way to describe a liquid, but once he remembered the characteristics of living source blood, it was easy to understand why it was described that way. Raven 12345 held the container up before her eyes and gently shook it. The red liquid refracted a dazzling array of colors in the daylight.
