"To be honest, it's pretty amazing that she came up with the idea of eating her own split-off selves." Raven 12345 looked Vivian up and down, and there was genuine astonishment in her voice. "But don't worry. A split-off self is just a split-off self. They aren't as stable as the original. After existing for a while, they lose their self-awareness, and souls in this fragmented state won't interfere with Vivian's main consciousness. Of course, a few extra memories might affect her life in the short term—isn't that right?"
The last two words were directed at Vivian, who immediately nodded. "A little. For the first couple of days, I kept dreaming about things that happened on Purgatory Planet—all scenes from ten thousand years ago. Sometimes, when I woke up, it took me half a day to figure out whether I was supposed to go cook or continue maintaining world peace."
Hao Ren immediately tensed up. "What about now?"
"It's fine now." Vivian shook her head. "It only affected me for the first few days."
Hao Ren breathed a sigh of relief, then rested his chin in his hand and studied the more than twenty replicated versions of Vivian with a thoughtful look. He knew they were all mindless evil spirits, even more insane than the "Ancestor of Evil Spirits" on Purgatory Planet. Once their seals were lifted, they would probably bite anyone they saw, just like the red-haired Vivian who had floated out of the spellbook back then. But did these evil spirits have some other purpose here?
"You didn't collect these split-off selves just to complete a set and claim a prize, did you?" Hao Ren glanced at Raven 12345. "What use do they have? Or are you planning to piece them together and make a stitched-together Vivian?"
