Hao Ren looked at the Data Terminal and gestured for it to continue.

It showed a fleet made up of thirteen ellipsoidal Ark giant ships, with complex lines radiating from each one: "These are the regularly repeating signals detected earlier. Based on the information currently available here, the Ark operators are dead. Therefore, these ships are relying on an automated system for command, which is why their signals are transmitted in this mechanical manner. According to their navigation mode, these ships have no fixed flagship. Instead, they connected all their navigation AIs through a network and created a unified, virtual navigation program. This unit speculates that the designers had considered from the start that any ship, including the flagship, might suddenly be wiped out. Therefore, they handed the highest navigation authority to a ghost host operating on the network.
