The Sirens—in the eyes of every supernatural being on Earth, and even in human myths and legends, they were an incredibly mysterious race. They were water spirits of the deep, hermits of the dark ocean trenches, the most elusive children of the sea amid the ever-changing waves and surging ocean. They themselves were like water: formless and impossible to fathom. Sailors of old firmly believed that the bewitching songs of the Sirens lurked within every wave on the ocean, while the Otherworldly Gods of the past believed that even Poseidon could not control these reclusive dwellers of the sea.
These shapeless, unseen water spirits had always been veiled in mystery—but now Hao Ren could thump his chest and tell all those storytellers that it was all because distance made the heart grow fonder. People had made the Sirens sound so mysterious simply because they had never come into close contact with these shut-in girls...
The unlucky ones imprisoned in Siren City for over a hundred years didn't count.
The water spirits were indeed gentle and composed, but just as the ocean had a thousand faces, so did the Sirens. They could be lively and carefree too, and Hao Ren should have realized that the moment he saw their mantis shrimp forms. Led by Shaqila, the group entered Nathatone. Taken together, everything they saw along the way could be summed up in four words: demons dancing wildly. The Sirens happily transformed themselves into everything that could be found in the sea. Anything that had ever been soaked in water seemed to interest them. Hao Ren even saw two tires rolling back and forth right in front of him. He had no idea which unlucky car had fallen into the sea and had its tires removed by the Sirens as reference models.
