Jiang Fan nodded.
"Thank you for your concern, Senior Sister!"
"This place is peaceful, and the spiritual energy is abundant. It is well suited for recuperation!"
Lin Yuan shook her head.
"There is no need for such courtesy between fellow disciples!"
She then looked toward Jiang Ming beside her.
"Is this little girl doing all right as well?"
Jiang Ming poked her head out from behind the bamboo grove, blinked her large eyes, and answered.
"Good!"
Lin Yuan could not help but laugh.
"Then I am relieved!"
Her expression then turned serious.
"Martial Uncle Xuanji sent me to bring you over!"
"He will personally examine your injuries!"
Jiang Fan's heart tightened.
"I'll have to trouble Senior Sister to lead the way!"
He returned to the house and made some simple arrangements for Jiang Ming, telling her not to run around, before leaving with Lin Yuan.
The two flew through the air, crossed several mountain peaks, and arrived before a secluded cave dwelling at the rear of the main peak.
A thin mist shrouded the entrance to the cave dwelling, through which its simple yet elegant furnishings could vaguely be seen.
Meditation cushions, a Stone Table, bookshelves—there was nothing else.
Daoist Xuanji sat cross-legged on a meditation cushion. Seeing the two arrive, he slowly opened his eyes.
"Lin Yuan pays respects to Martial Uncle!"
"Jiang Fan pays respects to Senior!"
The two bowed.
Daoist Xuanji gave a slight nod.
"Sit!"
The two obeyed and sat on the meditation cushions opposite him.
"Now that you have joined Heavenly Divination Palace, you are one of our fellow disciples!"
"Although you have yet to find a master and formally become a disciple, it would no longer be appropriate to call me Senior!"
"From now on, follow Lin Yuan's lead and call me Martial Uncle!"
