At the Heavenly Emperor's command, the former Kyushu Continent became the Four Great Divine Provinces. Together with the Immortality Realm and the Yellow Springs, they were called the Central Heaven Great World, standing above the Three Thousand Worlds.
The human world underwent earth-shaking changes. Mountains and rivers shifted, Heaven and Earth transformed, and the three ancestral dragon spiritual veins of Kunlun, Buzhou, and Mangyin were all adjusted to varying degrees.
The Four Great Divine Provinces were also called the Four Great Continents, or the Four Worlds Under Heaven. They occupied the east, south, west, and north respectively:
East, Shengshen Continent;
South, Jambudvipa Continent;
West, Ox-King Continent;
North, Kulu Continent;
The Four Great Divine Provinces were arrayed in the four cardinal directions, but their continental shelves remained connected and had not been completely severed.
Among them, Eastern Shengshen Continent, Western Continent of Ox-King, and Southern Jambudvipa Continent were the most closely connected. Northern Kulu Continent faced the other three across the sea, which ordinary mortals could scarcely cross.
Northern Kulu Continent was the Demon Race's homeland. It had once been the divine realm and spiritual lands, and was the most expansive of the four continents. With the Heavenly Emperor's permission, the divine realm and spiritual lands broke free of their ten-thousand-mile seal of ice.
Eastern Shengshen Continent and Western Continent of Ox-King were the former territory of Great Xia, and also included the Far West Land, Shituo Kingdom, the Heavenly Emperor's sacrificial grounds, and other places.
Southern Jambudvipa Continent was the entirety of the Myriad Monster Kingdom, its territory second only in size to Northern Kulu Continent.
With the formation of the Four Great Divine Provinces, four new seas arose in their wake, and the entire human world took on a wholly new appearance.
