Chapter 29: Making a Move

"Ah!" Niya watched helplessly as the enormous Fierce Beast lunged at her. Unable to dodge, she could only scream in terror.

Around her, three men and one woman lay on the ground, all severely wounded and unable to rise. Blood stained their bodies as they watched the powerful Fierce Beast with despair.

Only Niya was relatively unharmed, but as a mere First Order fighter, how could she possibly evade the formidable Fourth Order Peak Rhino Horn Beast?

These five individuals were all teenagers. They had met on the road and decided to venture into the Hundred Thousand Forest together for training. Of course, they hadn't dared to go deep, staying only in the fringe areas of the First Region.

His knees had been broken by the Rhino Horn Beast's charge during the earlier fight, and his bones felt like they were falling apart. He could only watch helplessly.

The four severely wounded youths on the ground closed their eyes, unable to bear the sight.

At this critical moment, a dark shadow, accompanied by a whistling sound, flashed like lightning between Niya and the Rhino Horn Beast. A black War Hammer struck the Rhino Horn Beast squarely on the forehead.

The charging Rhino Horn Beast suddenly stopped, then shot backward like a rocket, accompanied by its pained roars. Red blood splattered the ground, and its forehead caved in, looking like shattered porcelain.

"Are you alright?" A calm, concerned voice reached Niya's ears.

"Ah! Be careful!" Niya suddenly caught sight of the Fierce Beast lunging at Chen Yun from behind and screamed. Although Chen Yun had hit it hard with his hammer, its formidable defense had prevented it from dying, only sustaining a serious injury.

"Are you alright?" Niya asked urgently from within his arms.

After the first blow, Chen Yun pressed his advantage, rushing like the wind towards the momentarily stunned Rhino Horn Beast. He raised his War Hammer high and, with the force of splitting a mountain, brought it down with a thunderous crash. The intense visual impact made the eyelids of the five onlookers twitch.

Accompanied by a roar, the War Hammer smashed heavily onto the Rhino Horn Beast's head. A desperate scream echoed, and then the Rhino Horn Beast on the ground lay motionless.

The onlookers were stunned, their mouths agape. Niya and another girl covered their mouths with their hands, their eyes wide. This... this was too strong, too violent! The thought echoed in everyone's mind.
