This was an elegant, serene courtyard. A square pool roughly three zhang long and two zhang wide lay quietly in the center, like a graceful young maiden.

The bottom of the pool was covered with a thick layer of vivid green moss. At a glance, the entire pool seemed to be filled with green water.

Duckweed floated across the surface, with the occasional dainty flower blooming among it. From time to time, several fish with red or silver scales poked their heads above the emerald water.

At the center of the pool stood an artificial mountain about one zhang tall. It was hollow inside, and holes the size of fists dotted three of its sides. At that moment, streams of water were actually shooting out from those holes.

The artificial mountain looked like a fountain, spraying water in every direction. The pool water, which appeared green inside the pool, became extremely clear once it left the moss behind. But how had this fountain formed?

Looking closely, one could see that the space inside the artificial mountain was warped, as though it were made of rippling water. Around each hole in the mountain, the space had formed an almost invisible vortex. The water in the pool was forcibly drawn upward by the vortex's suction inside the mountain, forming columns of water.

The columns did not intersect one another. At first glance, they looked like transparent tubes, and the flowing water within them could barely be sensed.

This bizarre sight was indeed wondrous, but it was not particularly unusual on the War God Continent. Humans could apply certain special abilities they possessed to their daily lives and create things pleasing to the eye.
