Cutting Off His Pig Ear

Star City is the Golden Leaf Dynasty's most famous city for entertainment, and the place with the highest concentration of brothels, casinos, and taverns is the uniquely scenic Frostfall Lake within the city.

The streets encircling Frostfall Lake are lined with frost trees. Whenever the wind blows, the white frost flowers on the trees flutter and drift, giving Frostfall Lake its name.

Along both sides of the lake-encircling streets stand row upon row of buildings, their lights burning all night, earning it the name "City of No Night."

In the center of Frostfall Lake lies a small island, home to Star City's most renowned establishment, Drunken Moon Tower. It offers a complete package of dining, drinking, and gambling, all with top-tier service.

As the evening glow fades and the full moon rises, the extravagant nightlife is just beginning.

Qi Bei, leading Huo Lie, Tie Tou, Vajra, and Phantom, heads straight for Drunken Moon Tower. Having finally struggled out of the Undead Mountain Range in this life and become a wealthy and powerful young idler, how could he not indulge himself properly?

Riding a magic speedboat, the group quickly reaches the island in the center of the lake.

Upon docking, they are greeted by a long corridor made of sandalwood, its faint fragrance refreshing.

On either side of the corridor stand two rows of young women, their bare white arms and legs exposed. They offer sweet smiles and respectfully greet each arriving distinguished guest.

Huo Lie and Tie Tou, soldiers of the Black Armored Army, are here on duty, not for leisure. They remain unfazed by the onslaught of feminine charm. Vajra, as if lacking a crucial screw, is also uninterested in women. Phantom, however, looks around with wide-eyed excitement.

Exiting the corridor, they enter a resplendent hall where a beautiful woman in her early twenties approaches them.

"Esteemed guest, I am Linda, the duty manager here. What would you like to enjoy, young master?" Linda's gaze is sharp; she immediately recognizes Qi Bei's extraordinary status, while the others appear to be his attendants. Her eyes remain fixed on him.

"Is the Clear Water Tower available?" Qi Bei asks. He had visited a few times before, but he was much younger then. After spending so long in the Undead Mountain Range, he had grown considerably. His frame was no longer weak, and his gentle features now carried a hint of stern heroism from his battles. Those who didn't know him well wouldn't recognize him. Thus, Linda only felt a sense of familiarity, but didn't guess his identity.

Upon hearing Qi Bei mention Clear Water Tower, Linda knows he's a regular customer and of no ordinary status.

Clear Water Tower is one of the three most luxurious floors in Drunken Moon Tower, accessible only to the most distinguished nobles.

"It's still available. I'll lead you there now." Linda's tone becomes even more respectful, though her mind races to recall Qi Bei's background. If he's a regular with a top-tier status and she doesn't remember him, it would be a grave oversight.

"Wait." At this moment, an arrogant voice rings out.

A portly young man, clad in a magnificent magic robe, leads a group of men and women who are clearly nobles. He glances at Qi Bei with his small eyes and then arrogantly declares to Linda, "Linda, I'll take the Clear Water Tower."

"Ah, Young Master Fox graces us with his presence. However, the Clear Water Tower has just been booked by this young master. Perhaps you could choose another?" Linda says with a respectful smile. This Young Master Fox is the eldest grandson of the Fox Family. He's an intermediate earth mage. Not only is his clan leader a Marquis, but he himself holds the title of Viscount, wielding immense power.

"Linda, are you senile? I booked the Clear Water Tower yesterday, and today you're giving it to some bumpkins? Do you want to lose your job?" Young Master Fox blusters.

Linda's expression changes. She certainly wouldn't forget; Young Master Fox hadn't booked it at all. But with her low status, she dared not retort. Her beautiful eyes cast a pleading glance at Qi Bei, who appears indifferent.

"Preposterous..." Tie Tou angrily steps forward but is stopped by Qi Bei.

"I am a guest. It's not my place to interfere," Qi Bei says calmly.

Linda inwardly groans. She still hasn't recalled which prominent figure Qi Bei is, but his familiar face suggests he's no simple person. However, the Fox Family is not to be trifled with; Young Master Fox could ruin her with a word.

"My apologies, young master. All your expenses here today will be on me." Seeing the impatient nobles in Young Master Fox's entourage, Linda grits her teeth and makes a decision.

Qi Bei's eyes flash, but he says nothing.

"Hahaha, isn't that better? Why waste time?" Young Master Fox laughs triumphantly, his ample belly jiggling.

At this moment, Young Master Fox's gaze falls upon Phantom. At first glance, he doesn't think much of it, but upon closer inspection, he feels a strong urge. He opens his mouth and says, "Little girl, come with me. I guarantee you'll live like royalty."

A cold killing intent suddenly flashes across Qi Bei's face. He says calmly, "Huo Lie, Tie Tou, cut off his pig ears."

Before his words even fall, Huo Lie and Tie Tou rush forward like the wind. They had been holding back their anger, and now, with Qi Bei's command, it erupts.

Below the rank of Advanced Mage, against warriors in close combat, they are nothing but fragile tofu.

Huo Lie and Tie Tou are elites of the Black Armored Army, seasoned warriors. In an instant, their blades flash, and Young Master Fox lets out a scream. Blood gushes from both his ears, and his severed ears are brought before Qi Bei by Huo Lie and Tie Tou.

Everyone is stunned. No one could have imagined Qi Bei would act so ruthlessly from the start. He's the eldest grandson of the Fox Family, destined to inherit the House of Fox, yet he directly orders his ears to be cut off.

"Gesserit… M-my ears…" Young Master Fox begins to chant, and the air fills with intense earth magic element fluctuations. A thick yellow light appears around him.

"Vajra," Qi Bei calls out.

Without needing further instruction, Vajra's massive body moves to Young Master Fox's side. With a few powerful punches, the earth shield, which hadn't fully formed, shatters. Then, like picking up a chicken, he lifts Young Master Fox's body and swings him.

With a thump, Young Master Fox falls like a dead pig at Qi Bei's feet.

"You will regret this! I'll make your whole family perish!" Young Master Fox screams in terror.

Qi Bei smiles cruelly, his malevolent aura making everyone around tremble. He lifts his foot and stomps on Young Master Fox's fat face. A crunching sound is heard as teeth, mixed with blood, spill from his mouth.

"Stop!"

The guards of Drunken Moon Tower finally appear, surrounding Qi Bei and his four companions.

Normally, the guards of Drunken Moon Tower wouldn't be so slow. However, Qi Bei's act of cutting off Young Master Fox's ears had intimidated them, making them hesitant to act rashly. When gods fight, mortals suffer; they wanted the two parties to resolve it themselves.

But events did not unfold as they expected. Young Master Fox was directly turned into a dead pig and was being tortured under Qi Bei's foot. If they didn't intervene now, they would be held responsible if someone died.
