Rumble!!!

The ground collapsed, and hundreds of cavalrymen toppled forward, plunging into the massive crater in the sunken earth. There were Stag Attendants among them, as well as Nightmare Knights.

The horses bore most of the impact from the fall, and both sides consisted of extraordinary knights. A crater five or six meters deep was not enough to kill them outright.

Shaking his head, Mikaela snapped out of his dizziness. Using his sword planted in the ground to support himself, he rose to his feet and saw his mount lying in the rubble-filled pit, gasping. Blood flowed beneath it, and icy blue frost seeped from its breaths.

The Frozen Earth Territory's foremost general had no time to hesitate. He rose and charged at a Nightmare Knight opposite him. The enemy possessed the strength of a Golden Knight as well, but Mikaela had seized the initiative.

He hacked and slashed without pause. From time to time, brilliant light flashed over his weapon, and the sheer force of his Knight Combat Technique smashed the Nightmare Knight into the rubble.

"Kill them all!"

Mikaela roared. The Stag Legion's knights generally possessed superior physical qualities and base attributes. After all, they had received several blessings from Ryan, and their skills were formidable. During the fall, they had recovered more quickly and launched attacks ahead of the Nightmare Knights who had fallen alongside them.
