Background

Ritsuka is Chaldea's Master and one of the people traveling through disrupted points in history to save Human History. By the time Shirou enters the Absolute Demonic Front Singularity, she and Mashu have already endured multiple Singularities and forged bonds with numerous Heroic Spirits 457 475.

She meets Shirou after he aids her group against threats on the road to Uruk. Recognizing both the danger of the Age of Gods and Shirou's strength, she seeks his assistance; the group subsequently travels together under his protection, reaching Uruk without injury 461 463.

Personality

Ritsuka is compassionate and unwilling to disregard civilians even when retreat is the practical choice. Learning that Quetzalcoatl's sacrifices remain alive gives her hope that the goddess can be persuaded rather than simply defeated 471 497.

Though initially frustrated by her lack of combat ability, she refuses to remain behind Mashu permanently. She accepts Divine Blessings because she wants to fight at Mashu's side and make full use of her potential 476.

Her greatest strength is communication. Shirou identifies her ability to form bonds and speak with Heroic Spirits and gods as the quality most capable of changing a battle's course 497.

Ritsuka joins Shirou, Mashu, Merlin, and Anna on the journey to Uruk. The group initially investigates the City of Ur and the Three Goddess Alliance, seeking a way to resolve the crisis without relying solely on force 461 473.

She acts as the group's principal negotiator when recruiting allies. After learning that Quetzalcoatl's captives remain alive, she accepts responsibility for persuading the Feathered Serpent God, declaring that any possibility of success is worth pursuing 497.

Divine Blessings and Front-Line Training

Determined not to remain a noncombatant, Ritsuka accepts Shirou's Divine Blessings alongside Mashu. Although her Blessings initially yield no visible Magic or Skills, she trains at the Absolute Demonic Front, supports the soldiers with archery, and receives divine equipment tailored for her growth 476 477 480.

Three Goddess Alliance

Ritsuka assists in uncovering Ereshkigal's motives and helps communicate with the goddess during the campaign. Her exchanges with Ereshkigal contribute to exposing the latter's love for the souls under her care and to dismantling the Three Goddess Alliance 497 505 506.

Tiamat Subjugation

Ritsuka leads the team sent to confront Tiamat, coordinating with Mashu, Merlin, Little Rimuru, Ishtar, and Quetzalcoatl.
