Seafood Buffet

"Are you two alright? Not injured?"

As soon as Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko returned to the Problem Solver, Wu Shiyin greeted them with a smile. He took a good look at them and, seeing no issues, breathed a sigh of relief.

"Gin-san, this job was quite the ordeal," Yang Xiao said, placing the local specialties he was carrying on the floor before slumping onto the sofa. "You can let Mr. Shi know we're back."

"It's good you're back safe," Wu Shiyin chuckled and continued, "I'm taking you out for a seafood buffet tonight, you in?"

"Definitely!" Toga Himiko immediately replied. She then moved in front of Yang Xiao and looked at him. "That sofa is mine, go find somewhere else to rest."

"Got it!" Yang Xiao got up and moved aside. He suspected he was going to be completely dominated by this bloodthirsty loli from now on.

Wu Shiyin glanced at Toga Himiko, then at Yang Xiao, wondering what had happened on their trip. It seemed there was a subtle change in the relationship between Toga Himiko and Yang Xiao?

But that wasn't his business. As long as there were no issues between them, that was all that mattered. Colleagues could be casual, joking around was fine.

Mr. Shi rushed over as soon as he received Wu Shiyin's call. He had heard about the riot at the Kanagawa high-speed rail station, so he didn't blame Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko for taking too long. It was fine even if getting local specialties took a whole day, as long as they didn't stay overnight.

"Thank you both," Mr. Shi said. He didn't ask Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko about the Kanagawa high-speed rail station incident. Weren't they back safe and sound? What was the point of asking, anyway? It had nothing to do with him.

"You're too kind, Mr. Shi. This is just our job," Yang Xiao replied politely. After Mr. Shi paid the remaining balance for the job, he asked Yang Xiao to help him carry the local specialties to his private car before leaving.

Because of the riot at the Kanagawa high-speed rail station, it was already noon when Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko returned. Wu Shiyin specifically asked Boss Wu Yangyi to deliver their meal a little later and to prepare something more substantial.

Toga Himiko wasn't very hungry. Yang Xiao hadn't eaten anything, not even having time to buy food at the station. Toga Himiko guessed he had eaten some snacks.

It wasn't long before Wu Yangyi arrived with the food. Yang Xiao's appetite immediately picked up when he saw the lavish spread, and he happily started eating.

Toga Himiko was also a foodie. Although she had eaten some snacks at the station, she would eat anything if there was food available, as long as it was delicious. Otherwise, she wouldn't bother.

After lunch came the siesta. The Problem Solver allowed a one-hour nap after lunch each day, and this hour was Yang Xiao's most comfortable time.

After the meal, Yang Xiao leaned back in his chair, ready to rest. Wu Shiyin returned to his own room to rest, closing the door tightly.

"Diu~ Diu~!"

The sound of a game started up. Yang Xiao frowned. Toga Himiko was playing games again!

"Toga, can you keep it down a bit?" Yang Xiao said, half-opening his eyes to look at Toga Himiko in the dimly lit room.

The rolled-down security shutter made the room a bit dark, but this environment was perfect for a nap.

Toga Himiko was displeased. "It's such a waste of good rest time not to play games. What, you got a problem with it?"

"No, sis!" Yang Xiao said helplessly. "I'm not saying you can't play games. I just mean, can you keep the volume down, just a little?"

"No!" Toga Himiko flatly refused. "If you think my game volume is too loud, you can wear headphones to sleep, or you can go out for a walk."

What the hell am I supposed to do outside in the middle of the day! Yang Xiao cursed inwardly but didn't dare show his anger in front of Toga Himiko. He could only force a smile and say, "Sister Toga, you could wear headphones too."

"Oh?" Toga Himiko's eyes lit up at his suggestion. She bared a few small tiger teeth and said, "That's right! I like wearing headphones when I play games. I forgot today."

Yang Xiao breathed a sigh of relief when he saw her put on her headphones and start playing. The ancestor had finally quieted down.

An hour later, Yang Xiao stretched contentedly and rolled up the security shutter of the Problem Solver. Sunlight immediately streamed in.

Toga Himiko was still engrossed in her game. The sunlight made her phone screen flash, and just as she was about to complain, Wu Shiyin walked out. She then realized that the one-hour nap time was over.

But it didn't matter. As long as no one placed an order, she could play on her phone all day.

Yang Xiao and Wu Shiyin ignored her. Wu Shiyin had a cup of tea after waking up and then started organizing documents.

Now that the Problem Solver was running smoothly, Wu Shiyin had become much more diligent. After all, there was money to be made. Even the laziest person had potential when there was money involved.

There were two jobs scheduled for that afternoon. After Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko finished, Wu Shiyin closed the Problem Solver around 5 PM.

"Tut tut tut~"

Wu Shiyin rode out on his small motorcycle. Seeing Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko, he looked conflicted. "My bike can't carry three people. We'll get stopped by the traffic police. Who between you two will ride with me?"

Yang Xiao naturally let Toga Himiko ride with Wu Shiyin, while he took a taxi to the seafood buffet restaurant Wu Shiyin had mentioned.

Expenses were not reimbursed after work hours. Yang Xiao knew this and wasn't bothered by a few bucks. He had already saved money on dinner, so why worry about a few bucks for a taxi?

Toga Himiko felt a little smug. She found it quite enjoyable to bully Yang Xiao daily, and it certainly put her in a good mood.

Yang Xiao had no idea Toga Himiko was thinking this way. If he knew, he'd be furious. You can't just use me as your entertainment every day, can you?

"Gin-san, can we eat as much as we want at this place?" Toga Himiko and Wu Shiyin arrived at the entrance of Wansheng Seafood Buffet Restaurant, where Yang Xiao was already waiting.

"Of course. Can't you see it's a seafood buffet?" Wu Shiyin tapped Toga Himiko on the head and asked, "Haven't you been to a place like this before?"

Toga Himiko rubbed her head. "You know my financial situation, don't you? Otherwise, I wouldn't have come to your Problem Solver."

"Let's go. I'll let you eat your fill today, as much as you want," Wu Shiyin said. He felt a bit sorry for Toga, so he patted her shoulder, slung an arm around Yang Xiao's neck, and walked directly into the seafood buffet.

"Hello, how many?" a waitress asked enthusiastically, looking at Wu Shiyin and the others.

"Three. Please arrange a table," Wu Shiyin said casually.

"Okay, three, this way please." The waitress gestured for them to follow.

As they walked, Yang Xiao observed the environment of Wansheng Seafood Buffet Restaurant. There were many seats, but most were occupied, indicating that business was very good.

It was only a little past 5 PM, not yet the peak rush hour. If it were peak time, there would probably be even more people.
