Seafood Buffet

"Neither of you got hurt, right?"

Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko had just returned to Problem Solver when Wu Shiyin came over with a smile. He gave the two of them a thorough once-over, and seeing that they were fine, he was relieved.

"Gin-san, this job really had its twists and turns." Yang Xiao set the local specialties in his hand on the floor, then plopped down on the couch. "You can let Mr. Shi know."

"It's good that you came back safe." Wu Shiyin smiled and continued, "I'll take you two out for a seafood buffet tonight. Want to go?"

"Of course!" Toga Himiko immediately said. She then walked over to Yang Xiao and looked at him. "The couch is mine. Go rest somewhere else."

"Sure thing!" Yang Xiao got up and gave up his spot. From now on, he was probably going to be completely suppressed by this bloodthirsty loli.

Wu Shiyin looked at Toga Himiko, then at Yang Xiao, wondering what had happened between them on the road. It seemed there had been a subtle change in Toga Himiko's relationship with Yang Xiao.

But that was none of his business. As long as there was no rift between the two of them, it was fine. They were colleagues, after all. Being casual and joking around was no big deal.

The moment Mr. Shi received Wu Shiyin's call, he hurried over. He had also heard about the riot at Kanagawa High-Speed Rail Station, so he did not blame Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko for being slow. Even if picking up some local specialties took an entire day, it would have been fine—as long as they did not keep it overnight.

"Thank you both," Mr. Shi said. He did not ask Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko about what had happened at Kanagawa High-Speed Rail Station. Hadn't they returned safely? What was the point of asking? It had nothing to do with him anyway.

"You're too polite, Mr. Shi. This is our job." Yang Xiao answered courteously. After Mr. Shi paid the remaining balance for the job, he had Yang Xiao carry the local specialties to his private car before leaving.

Because of the riot at Kanagawa High-Speed Rail Station, it was already noon when Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko returned. Wu Shiyin had specifically told Boss Wu Yangyi to deliver lunch later and prepare something more substantial.

Toga Himiko was not particularly hungry, but Yang Xiao had not eaten anything the whole time. Even at the High-Speed Rail Station, he had not had time to buy food. Toga Himiko had probably eaten a few snacks.

Before long, Wu Yangyi delivered the food. Seeing how lavish the meal was, Yang Xiao's appetite immediately returned, and he happily dug in.

Toga Himiko was a foodie too. Although she had eaten some snacks at the High-Speed Rail Station, she would eat whenever there was food around. Most importantly, it had to taste good, or she would not even give it a second look.

After lunch came nap time. At Problem Solver, they could take an hour-long nap after lunch every day. That hour was Yang Xiao's favorite time of the day.

After eating, Yang Xiao leaned back in his chair to rest. Wu Shiyin returned to his room to sleep, shutting the door tightly behind him.

"Diu~ Diu~!"

The sound of a game rang out. Yang Xiao frowned slightly. Toga Himiko had started playing games again!

"Duwo, could you keep it down a little?" Yang Xiao asked, half-opening his eyes to look at Toga Himiko in the dim room.

The rolling shutter outside had been pulled down, making the room somewhat dark, but that environment was perfect for an afternoon nap.

Toga Himiko was unhappy. "Using such great rest time to play games isn't a waste at all. What, do you have a problem with it?"

"No, sis!" Yang Xiao said helplessly. "I'm not telling you not to play games. I mean, could you turn the volume down a little? Just a little, okay?"

"No!" Toga Himiko flatly refused. "If you think my game is too loud, wear headphones while you sleep, or go out for a walk."

Walk my ass in the middle of the day! Yang Xiao cursed inwardly, but he did not dare lose his temper in front of Toga Himiko. He could only force a smile. "Sister Duwo, you could wear headphones too."

"Hm?" Toga Himiko's eyes lit up. Showing several little canine teeth, she said, "Right! I like wearing headphones while gaming. I just forgot today."

When Yang Xiao saw her put on her headphones and start playing, he breathed a sigh of relief. This little ancestor had finally settled down.

An hour later, Yang Xiao stretched lazily in satisfaction and pulled up Problem Solver's rolling shutter. Sunlight immediately streamed in.

Toga Himiko was still excitedly playing her game. When the sunlight came in, the glare made her phone screen flicker. Just as she was about to get angry, Wu Shiyin came out, and she realized that the hour-long nap break was over.

But it did not matter. As long as no one placed an order, she could keep playing on her phone.

Yang Xiao and Wu Shiyin ignored her as well. After waking up, Wu Shiyin drank some tea and began organizing documents.

Now that Problem Solver was on track, Wu Shiyin had become much more diligent. After all, there was money to be made now. As long as there was money involved, even the laziest person had potential.

There were two jobs that afternoon. After Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko finished them, Wu Shiyin closed Problem Solver at around five.

"Put-put-put~"

Wu Shiyin rode out on his little scooter. When he saw Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko, he looked a little conflicted. "My bike can't carry three people. The traffic cops will stop us. Which one of you is riding with me?"

Naturally, Yang Xiao let Toga Himiko ride with Wu Shiyin. He took a taxi himself to the seafood buffet restaurant Wu Shiyin had mentioned.

There was no reimbursement for transportation after work, and Yang Xiao knew that. He was not short on a few bucks anyway. Dinner was already free, so why would he care about a little taxi fare?

Toga Himiko felt a little smug. She now thought that bullying Yang Xiao in everyday life was pretty nice. At least, it put her in a good mood.

Yang Xiao had no idea Toga Himiko thought that way. If he had known, he would have cursed her out. You can't treat me like your daily entertainment, can you?

"Gin-san, can you eat as much as you want at this place?" By the time Toga Himiko and Wu Shiyin arrived at the entrance of Wansheng Seafood Buffet Restaurant, Yang Xiao was already waiting there.

"Of course. Didn't you see the words 'seafood buffet'?" Wu Shiyin tapped Toga Himiko on the head. "Have you never been to a place like this?"

Toga Himiko rubbed her head. "You know my financial situation, don't you? Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone to your Problem Solver."

"Let's go. Today, you can eat your fill. Eat as much as you want." Wu Shiyin felt rather sorry for Duwo. After patting her shoulder, he hooked an arm around Yang Xiao's neck and headed straight into the seafood buffet.

"Hello, how many?" the waitress asked Wu Shiyin's group warmly.

"Three. Please arrange a table for us," Wu Shiyin said casually.

"Certainly. This way, please." The waitress extended a hand in invitation.

As they walked, Yang Xiao observed the environment inside Wansheng Seafood Buffet Restaurant. There were many seats, but most of them were occupied. Business here was clearly very good.

It was only a little after five, not yet the peak rush after work. Once peak hours arrived, there would probably be even more people.
