Background / History

Toga was already acquainted with Wu Shiyin when he invited her to dine with him and Yang Xiao. Yang immediately recognized her as a future League of Villains criminal from his knowledge of the setting, while Toga initially regarded him as an unremarkable coworker 11 12 14.

Wu Shiyin offered her part-time work at Problem Solver, including meals and a flexible schedule around school. She accepted and began work the following day, though she made clear that she attended school only when she wished 12. She rapidly asserted herself around the office, arriving early enough to wake Wu Shiyin and attempting to delegate work to Yang Xiao 12 18.

As part of a delivery assignment to Kanagawa, Toga led Yang Xiao through the trip and survived a violent high-speed rail station incident alongside him 13 15 17. Yang's wish to keep her away from the League of Villains becomes a continuing reason for him to return to Problem Solver after enrolling at U.A. High School 12 23.
