Problem Solver Training Base

After returning to the classroom, Izuku Midoriya and Tenya Iida stood at the podium.

"Th-then, let's choose the other committee members next. But before that, there's something I want to say," Izuku Midoriya said nervously.

Tenya Iida stood beside Izuku Midoriya, looking at him in confusion. The classmates might not know one another very well yet, but there was no need to be this nervous, was there?

"Then it's up to you, Emergency Exit!" Eijiro Kirishima laughed.

"Emergency Exit Iida, do your best!"

"Also, Yaoyorozu Momo will be the vice president," Izuku Midoriya added at last.

"Huh? How did I become the vice president?" Yaoyorozu Momo looked at Izuku Midoriya in confusion.

"Since I'm no longer the class president, you naturally move up to vice president. After all, you were next in line after Iida." After saying that, Izuku Midoriya smiled and walked down from the podium. Yaoyorozu Momo could only go up and stand beside Tenya Iida.

This was actually what she had wanted as well. Not becoming class president was a little disappointing, but then again, Tenya Iida was the best choice for the position.

After school, Yang Xiao headed to the Problem Solver as usual. It had really been a full day: getting up to run in the morning, then going to school, and after school, he did not even get a break before having to work at the Problem Solver.

"Pull down the shutter and come inside." Wu Shiyin turned and walked into the inner room. After pulling down the shutter, Yang Xiao followed him in.

When they reached the central area, Toga Himiko was sitting at her station, reading through documents. She had more daily work time than Yang Xiao, so her work experience had caught up. Compared with before, when she often made mistakes, she was doing much better now.

"Toga, put that aside for now. I have something to tell you two." Wu Shiyin clapped his hands and looked at them.

"You two talk first. I still have a few things to take care of. I'll come over in a few minutes," Toga Himiko said to Wu Shiyin.

"Fine. Little Yang, let's go in and talk first." Wu Shiyin led the way into a small room. There were only four chairs inside, and it looked like a place specifically meant for talking.

"Have a seat," Wu Shiyin said to Yang Xiao. Once Yang Xiao sat down, he looked at him and said, "Recently, an assassin organization has set its sights on the Problem Solver. But they don't know our exact location, so before they find us, we need to strike first."

"What the hell? We're going up against an assassin organization again?" Yang Xiao said speechlessly. "What can I even help with? All I can do is give real-time reports."

"No. From now on, you need to undergo Problem Solver training. Otherwise, when a crisis comes, you and Toga will be walking straight into your deaths. I don't want that happening to either of you."

Wu Shiyin's words stunned Yang Xiao. He had considered that the Problem Solver might train them, but he had not expected it to happen so soon.

"You mean I'll have to take part in missions from now on?" Yang Xiao asked with a frown.

Wu Shiyin saw his frown and patiently said, "I know what you're considering. You're a student, after all, and you don't want to get involved in this kind of thing. I understand that. But if you want to survive in this society, you need some real skills."

"I accept. So when do we start?" Since Wu Shiyin had put it that way, Yang Xiao naturally agreed. One of his reasons for joining the Problem Solver's central division was to train and strengthen himself.

But Yang Xiao could not appear too eager, as if he desperately wanted the Problem Solver to train him. If he did, Wu Shiyin would definitely become suspicious.

Wu Shiyin had not expected Yang Xiao to agree so quickly. Normally, students did not have that kind of courage. But after thinking it over, Wu Shiyin understood. Once someone joined the Problem Solver's central division, it was basically impossible to leave unscathed.

At that moment, Toga Himiko came in. Wu Shiyin repeated what he had told Yang Xiao, and Toga Himiko agreed as well.

Since Yang Xiao had agreed, she had no reason to refuse. She knew she would only be stronger than Yang Xiao, never weaker.

"Since that's settled, let's head to the training ground. Don't underestimate the Problem Solver's power." Wu Shiyin chuckled, got to his feet, and motioned for Yang Xiao and Toga Himiko to follow.

After leaving the Problem Solver, the three walked through the alley for a while. After passing a stinking ditch, Wu Shiyin stopped in front of a tiny, dilapidated building barely ten cubic meters in size.

"Gin-san, why did you bring us here?" Toga Himiko could not understand why Wu Shiyin had brought them here. This clearly did not look like a place where anyone could train.

Yang Xiao immediately understood. The layout was the same as the Problem Solver's—its secret places were all underground.

Once they understood that, both Toga Himiko and Yang Xiao felt that the Problem Solver truly had some power. Being able to conceal such places within normal society was already extremely impressive.
